Respect ! A very nice tribute with a complete different instrument. After a few notes I knew it was going to be at least "very good". By the end it had exceeded those expectations. Very nice performance with the necessary respect to the original, without totally copying it but adding personal touches here and there. Hats off and greetings from Belgium
You took a real chance here. Fortunately, I'm so glad to say that you definitely succeeded! Congratulations!! I so look forward to future works from you. Thanks so much.
Extraordinarily beautiful and cathartic. Bill would be proud. Would love to know what tuning this is so I can spend the rest of my life learning how to play it. Please let me know.
Thanks Richard. 6th string is down to C and 5th string is down to G. Sort of an open Cmaj9 sound. You get lots of nice resonances and it makes the original voicings easier to play
The only thing I don't like is the frontal shot of you. If it had been at least three quarters of the way through, or rather just a cloud in the sky, for example. Too real and material, for your interpretation which is nothing but magic, I hope you understand what I mean. Thank you, by the way. Bravo!
A wonderful ode to Mr. Evans. The touch, dynamics and note choices are just perfect. On a Nashville Tele no less, bravo 👏
Thank you Brett! The nashville tele is super versatile. It's my go-to

Lovely! A song I have loved since I first heard it in the 70s. Is that in open tuning?
Thanks Alyson. Yes it's Open Cmaj9
@@lennyranallo Great... I almost always use alternate tunings... have since the beginning of my playing.
Heel mooi!!!

What about doing an Erik Satie piece this way ?
Thanks Benoit! Definitely have been considering Gnossienne #1 which I play on classical guitar
@@lennyranallo Looking forward to that !
