- It has been a while that I have been racing. For this race I travelled to Zaandam, close to Amsterdam for the Damloop by night 2022. The 'little brother' of the Dam tot Damloop.
It was a very cold and wet race. Luckily it was dry the moment I had to race. During the race I really enjoyed myself! See for yourself!

Really enjoyed this video, congrats on your race, that's a great pace to hold! The atmosphere and the crowds near the finish line seemed amazing, and it looked a bit like a party at night!
Thankyou for watching! It is like a party through the whole town. Everywhere people are drinking some beer with music etc. If the weather was a bit better, the crowds would have been thicker 😉 but I loved it!

Good time that for 5 miles. Scale that up through the distances and you have a marathon pb.
Thanks! I am planning to do that! But probably for my next marathon as my body should get used to running and training at higher intensity for longer periods. So I'm gunna take it slow. But I am confident that I will be able to scale that 4min/km to a marathon in the end. Thanks for watching!
