My oldest just got married this weekend. We moved him into his apartment the week before and walking by his empty room that first night I bawled like a baby. I realized that forever our family had changed. However I also realize I have a new daughter who I love wholeheartedly and she is exactly what we had prayed for in a helpmate for our boy. That makes it all worth it. God is faithful. Love Him.
I have a testimony. I was in the hospital for 4 days on the cardiac unit. They said that the blood wasn't flowing properly thru one side of my heart. A woman from pastoral care came to see me. We talked and prayed. She kept coming back..she said she was drawn to my room because she felt we needed to pray often. I had a team of 4 surgeons as my care team. I was told I needed.an angiogram to determine if I needed open.heart surgery or not. As it turned out, the Dr couldn't see any problem once he looked. Praise God!! I was released from the hospital that evening. I'm following up with a cardiologist to make sure.
The bed lifts are great for dorms. Gives them room to store stuff under the bed. When I was fixing my sons first apartment, I overheard him tell someone that even though he was in college, his mom was living with him so that was a signal that it was time for me to leave.
My college son does sports in college-football and track. He will come say "hi" after a game or at a meet, but not much more! He's off to talk to the friends! We've been passed over...even if we did drive several hours for these events! Oh well, I'm glad he's enjoying himself! On another note, our oldest is married with 2 kids now. The youngest is 5 months old and I get to watch her everyday while they're at work, and big brother too on non school days! So, that is a plus...grandkids!
My daughter went on holiday to new zealand and never came back that was 15 years ago never been back home she decided after 4 months she was staying their for good quite a shock but she enjoys her life
I have eight cats .And horticulture was my trade when i was younger. And i love gardening to this day. .So yeah,I'm a crazy cat lady and a crazy gardener.
2 of my daughters got their master yesterday in business Administratian and my oldest has masters in sport science and then my baby boy is university business and economics.

My first empty nester moment came when my only child, at about 11 yrs old, told me he could not tell me he loves me anymore when I drop him off at school because his friends would make fun of him. I immediately said “we can make up a word that means I love you to us”! We decided on the word “CLICK” lol He is now 40 yrs old and we still use “click” before we say goodbye ♥️👵🏻🤣

When we drove our daughter from Florida to Oklahoma to the Oral Roberts University and spend two days with her as we drove back we started crying like little babies and was in this condition for a week. Horrible.
My mom tells a story about going to the eye doctor and he mentioned his son had left for college. She said, "Oh, you must miss him" and he answered, "Yeah, I miss him good!"
My I was calling my kids every hour checking on them lol that was only for 2weeks then one said mom I'm fine I'll call u if I need anything she only called me one time saying mom can u come baby sit hahahah ❤❤❤❤ after she told me to back off kindly I don't my self looking out the windows and wondering what the hell am I going to do now?? they are all gone lol😢😢 😢😢😢😢
Mine is 20 and at home because im poor and cant afford to pay school for him so hes home rent free doing school and his work program and my daughter grade 11 and will be home to do school because cant affrod to pay hers either so no i home with both for a bit longer
