I agree. Not until I became a parent myself, I would have not known all the sacrifices of my parents..When I was still in the Philippines, I would always ask money from my mother who at that time, lived in the USA. I would splurge the money without thinking that my mother worked so hard just to make me happy! I regretted it. When I finally came to the States, I realized the value of hard earned money! Then I became a mom & tried to tell my kids that they should save money & value how to be hardworking ! I always remind my kids that someday, they would know when they become parents themselves! Family is so important & most especially, to give honor to God!
