- We had an absolute blast attending Yours and Owls Festival 2023 at Wollongong! This was our very first music festival experience and it did not disappoint. We met so many of our fans and lots of people asked to take photos with us, and we also saw a lot of great music.
Thanks so much to the festival organisers for inviting us and we can't wait to attend next year!

People with downs usually have an activity that they're extremely well versed in, or good at. My cousin is a professional billiards player, and when he plays he gets in this focused state of just... I have no idea how to describe it. (In case you couldn't tell he also has downs.)

I work with kids with down syndrome everyday and this just brings joy to my soul, seeing them enjoying themselves like everybody else at the festival, just shows that everyone that battles with something in their daily lives can do what other people do

Theres plenty of places and you can take them out and give them a sense of normality instead of clout chasing as these guys have ea other and are well established not necessarily needing you in their lives on the other hand its the oppisite, so go out and help others not so fortunate live their best lives. I do alot of work for a nursing company that has alot of special needs housing and the best days are the rare occasions the residents are allowed to be there when I do my job(I'm an exterminator so only certain times and types of treatments they're allowed at the houses when I work) it's legit the best I always end up late to my next appointments but it's worth it. They be having me feeling extra positive the rest of the day ❤
