This song helped save my life in dealing with demonic oppression for 14 months back in 2013-2014. This song was my lifeline through so much, and it is one of my most integral songs among christian music in such a personal way. I was delivered from bondage on Christmas Day 2014. There is 100% a loving God, and Jesus is REAL. Surrender yourselves to Him, and resist the devil so he shall flee from you!
My first time hearing this song was on a compilation cd for hurricane Katrina aid relief (original Casting Crowns version). I have no idea how I got the cd but put it on while driving. I remember having to pull off the road because I was sobbing uncontrollably! At this time I was so confused and angry with God who I felt had abandoned me even though his word said He would never leave me nor forsake me. This was such a blessing because it broke the downward spiral of despair that I was quickly going in. That one event devastated so many lives but my Father carried me through and I can testify that if you keep your eyes on God he will see you through every test and trial. You can be assured that even if you walk through fire he'll bring you out and you won't even smell like smoke! The flood waters of life may rise but when you put your trust in the Almighty you'll come out with the soles of your feet still dry. He is such a good Father in that he allows us to experience troubles for the lesson and growth but when we keep our focus on him he will keep us in "Perfect Peace" even in the midst of storms raging all around us!

I had to pull over on the side of the road because i could barely see the road in front of me. This song came on the radio, it was a funny coincidence. After the storm calmed down, I got back on the road. I remember seeing trees snapped and uprooted on both sides of the road, roofs ripped off of houses. The most memorable thing I saw was 4 trees laying on a bank.
