And I'm not talking about you, I noticed Cariuma has a dedicated group of haters that base themselves on it being "corporate". Their marketing rubs me the wrong way, but I really appreciate that they are environmentally conscious and are actually pedalling products that *seem* eco-friendly. Although my cynical side doubts that. A pair of shoes won't necessarily be eco-friendly just because it's not made of leather or suede. There could be a lot of factors behind the scenes that do not attest to leaving the smallest carbon footprint possible. But I've gone on a tangent. I HIGHLY doubt Cariuma is saving the planet lmao.

They also pay people to do product reviews of their shoes, which ruins the whole point of product reviews since the reviewer can not have an unbiased opinion of the shoes since they are getting paid by the company. Also the whole eco-friendly shit is most likely a gimmick anyways. Good on them if it isn't, but this wouldnt be the first time a big company lies about their business practices.

I bought a pair from Walmart for 20 bucks just now. they're made cheaper with single stitches instead of double or triple like most skate shoes. mesh in places leather should be and the gum soles are too soft the insoles are memory foam so they're cheaply made not like the ones sold at other retailers.
