Passed today. First try after 4 months of study, a full time job and no IT background. Guys : take notes when watching the course, practice Anki every single day, do your labs and use other ressources too (OCG's and Boson's exams and some online stuff).
Side note : non-english first language candidates get a full half-an-hour bonus for the exam. I understand english perfectly, but I don't think I could have passed it in 120 minutes...

I'll tell you right now, if you want to pass the CCNA exam watch this course. This guy is incredibly good at teaching, and he provides all the resources for FREE. There is no catch. CCNA is a hard exam, and there is a lot of material you will need to study, but if you complete his course and do everything he says, the labs, the ANKI flash cards, you will more than likely pass. Just passed mine, all I did was watch his course. I'd give him money if I could, but all I can do is give him an incredibly good review. Good luck on your networking studies!

Just super nervous because I finished college with a cybersecurity certificate but still don’t feel like I learned anything at all and wondering if just this course and the little knowledge I do know would actually be enough and worth the time/effort?

I passed the CCNA on my first try just an hour ago!! Jeremy, you're such an amazing teacher and something about your style kept me fully engaged throughout the course for 3 months straight. No grade school or college course has ever done that for me. THANK YOU for being so dedicated and helping us all out. This cert is my ticket out of my current living situation and I'm so happy I now have it.
For anyone curious, here's what I did:
Every single day of the week, I watched at least 1 "Day" of the course (lecture video + lab video) from start to end, include all the Boson content featured; sometimes I did 2 "Days" in a day. After that, I would do all of Jeremy's flashcards that were due in Anki, then add the deck for that day and do those as well. Even if I missed a day with the videos for whatever reason, I was always sure to do the flashcards that I owed. Also, do every single lab in packet tracer. I did most of mine following along with Jeremy's video, but some of them I did myself and then watched the video to make sure I did it right and learn any extra bits of info that I could from them. Also, NOTES! TAKE NOTES! I went through about 130 pages in a notebook just jotting down all sorts of useful info from each lecture. I didn't even review every one of them before the exam, but it still helps to have and writing things down helps to solidify it in memory.
After I was all done with this course, I also watched similar videos on topics I wanted more info on from CBTNuggets, NetworkChuck and David Bombal on UA-cam. I used Boson Exam-sim to help see how the exam would feel, and Net-Sim to get hands-on with concepts I needed extra practice with.
In total, it was about 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours every single day for 3 and 1/2 months straight. It was a ton to do, but I learned so much and had so many gaps in my knowledge filled, it was more than worth it.

Don't mind me just making myself some notes below:
    - Sometimes clients and servers are called endpoints or end hosts
    - client is a device that accesses a service made available by a server e.g pcs, smartphones etc
-Server is a devices that provides services/functions to a client
-Switches are used to forward traffic within a LAN. Have multiple interfaces/ports to plug PCs and servers to.
-Router - connected to switches in a LAN and help transmit data across different LANs by Frame conversion - connectivity between LANs. Fewer interfaces
    Firewalls
    - special network security devices that control traffic entering and exiting the network
    - they can be placed outside the network or inside the network
    - they're configured with security rules to determine which traffic must be allowed in and out or denied in and out

2/2/24 Successfully passed the exam on the first try after almost three months of studying every day. The course is absolutely great; you have created a masterpiece. A lot of information is presented together in an absolutely logical order, allowing for a deep understanding of every topic without unnecessary clutter. I did some practice exam from online and I was ready to go for my exam. Really could not believe I made it. Big thanks to you and all the best to your channel.

    - finished all videos of 200-301 complete course of Jeremy, did the anki flash card everyday (duration : 3 months)
    - after reach final video, start all the videos all over again from beginning with faster speed, this time taking screenshot and paste to microsoft one note
    - practice all the labs from Jeremy's only-lab playlist (it's on this channel homepage)
    - review the One Note regularly
    - try all the online quiz and practice exams online
all took me about one year as sometimes it's just hard to give myself one hour everyday for study due to my daily work

After a few months of studying your lectures I have grown to myself a completely new picture of networking eco-system with lots of logic and no grey areas in it. Two months ago I've turned 52, and suddenly felt like trying CCNA test. Which I did today and PASSED at first attempt having no previous certification experience!

I've been reading the CCNA book to change career and dip into the technical jobs as my husband works as IT consultant and I'm fascinated by it. After weeks of trying to understand the Packet tracer he installed, I found your extensive and amazing course. I can tell the effort and time you've taken in making this astounding course in a clear and practical way and, specially, in a clear English. I'm not nativ but have pretty high level of English and I understand you perfectly. Definitely in my go-to course to learn! Wonderful job!!!

Hi Jeremy Sir, I Passed my CCNA exam now. I followed your whole series from start to end and make every single note thats filled by 3 copies😅, and everyone here who are going to start CCNA just stick to this series. I follow only this and after completing the series I need some practice set so I purchased Boson exsim but believe me it is not needed, just follow this series and make notes that it. Thank you so much Sir. Journey started from Oct - april. But If anyone study sincerely you will pass only in 4 months. Again Thank u.♥Jeremy

You're an amazing teacher Jeremy! But what really makes this course so much better than any other course is by far the quizzes at the end of each lecture, and the Anki cards.
I've watched the entire 200-301 CCNA course from Neil Anderson, and it's definitely great! Like you, he's an amazing teacher. However at the end of the course, even after reviewing all the material, i found myself struggling to actually remember what i learned in detail.
This is where your course by far outweighs any other.
    - The quizzes at the end of each lecture, ensures you've understood the fundamentals for each lecture - If you realise you missed something, you just rewind and watch that part.
    - Studying the Anki cards throughout the whole course, while appending the Anki deck for each lecture, ensures that you actually keep refreshing your memory of the concepts you learned in the lectures, until you get to the point where it just sticks!
Thank you for such an amazing course. I'm looking very much forward to your CCNP course!
