Yeah right!!?? Its amazing how you see kids that have hundreds of Ks even million subs and probably havent been outside their houses, or just play games.... And this here, requires so much more effort, knowledge skills time everything and doesnt get so much attention. Hard to understand...but again these days and these times we re living in, who knows..... Not taking credit of those kind of youtubers but, this is golden

The first time your instructor leaves you alone even though you probably already know what to do, feels so strange and intimidating, of something does goes wrong hes not there to save the day, is definetely different
I actually got weak knees and goosebumps watching this as if I was doing my first solo again. That was strange.

There is absolutely no feeling in the world comparable to that moment when you take off for the first time without anyone sitting in the seat next to you. You will remember that moment for the rest of your life!!!

The day my instructor jumped out and told me to go do what I always did I noted the increase in climb rate, but it didn't really hit me until short final that I was the only person in this thing (Cherokee 140 C-FKKF) and I needed to land it in about 10 seconds.

I've still not recovered
I remember my first solo. Three full-stop-taxi-backs at a busy class D airport 7 nm north of ORD in 1997. During my downwind for the second landing tower said they would call my base due to traffic. I was nervous because it took me out of my routine and the sight picture was a bit different. But it all worked out great. Good times.
Went to PWK the other day they were busy and had to extend my downwind a good amount but the view of the skyline is great
@@nolankrumsee3873 yep that’s the airport! Those extended downwinds for runway 34 or 30 results in some fantastic views.

Remember my first Solo. Once you do it the shock value goes away. My CFI just hopped out. Said see you after three touch n go in the pattern at a class D airport.
Watching your students become pilots is almost like being there. If I had the resources I would move there and have Lewis as an instructor. Thanks for the videos

Loved that, felt emotional and remembered my first solo back at Manchester Barton on 31st January 1996.
Just saw the video of him coming back a year after. This dude was able to fly perfectly even after such a big break of not flying. Great pilot!

I'm on track to solo in 7 days, I wasn't nervous talking about it with my CFI today, but now I'm about to piss myself lol. Gosh, I love but hate how my anxiety always happens after.
