Based on another video of yours that I just watched, I had the 5th gen in my Amazon cart waiting for Black Friday to see if the price comes down... and then I saw the Signature Edition! Um, this makes buying the audio interface easier on my budget! Thanks for your new video!
Weird, I also experienced that from my new NT1 which I've used twice... It was fine and then all of a sudden it was giving this low swishy sound which I can't pinpoint. I thought it was traffic but I left it till night and it was still there. I read on a forum that someone contacted Rode and they said it was a defect so got a replacement. I'm doing the same to give it a second chance.
Hi James 😊 I recently start with VO , I got BM800 mic and using Audacity. I also have got interface ecler nuo 4 which im not sure how to use yet(it was a present 🫣). The question is, how do i get rich sound of my voice with my gear? Is it in post-production that i have to adjust EQ etc? Cuz when i record myself it sound like im in big room, and i don't hear myself on playback in audacity really with volume, i have no idea how to adjuste it🫣 Please if you coul give me a tip or 2 to start I'll appreciate it a lot🙏🏼 Thank you, i hope I don't bother you asking 😊 Have a great day...
Hey there! 80% of your sound is how you acoustically treat the space you're recording in. The reason you sound like you're in a big room is because there's not enough acoustic treatment in there to make the audio sound professional. Whenever you're ready to get that figured out I offer a service on my site called home studio setup/treatment where I evaluate your space and let you know the best possible way to treat it for recording audio. Also go watch the video on my channel about how to setup and use an audio interface.

Great review James!
Rode NT1 is based. I am a fangirl for Rode, for a lifetime!

Is this rode nt1 5th gen the same sound on the usb vs audio interface?
At this point yes. No one will be able to tell the difference.
My friend, does the nt1 signature series have 32 bit float?
Unfortunately it does not :(
im so sad i was about to purchase it lol
tnx for the reply@@JamesYounger
How do u do 32 bit float
I seen I had this setting when rendering WAV files
Excelente , thanks
Which microphone is better for a home studio: NT1 or CAD E100SX?
Personally I'd still go with the Rode NT1. It's so hard to beat. I'd go with the 5th gen that offers both USB & XLR.
And the price decreased!
