Great vid thanks! I hope they sell small quantities of cat litter around here hehe. I wanted to know how you made the trees. I am very curious about the steps and materials which were not shown in the video :)
+Sebastien Desautels I will do a video on them as a couple of people have asked. I made them for my 6mm table to play Horizon wars as there are not many mini woods in this scale available on the market.
+West Side Thank you , have an on going plan to improve the channel and it's content, getting more time to film stuff and edit it up to were I am on the same day. I have increased the video quality but still waiting on fiber as upload slow unless I use my phone data.
@@StevesSmallWorld cool I've seen the flock vid, I've begun to make my own stuff, I made the mistake of using a blender that wasn't powerful enough for my clump foliage but hey ho! it's making an excellent futuristic gun emplacement and the motor will make and excellent rickety generator of some sort. I've found a better blender now with more power it should do the job nicely
Great stuff. Will give this a go. You missed the final stage where you sell a pack of 4 trees for a tenner plus postage ;)
+robotmonkey they cost pence to make it is just time but I do something else when they are drying .
Looks great!
+collin flynn thank you , gives a option to add more of a natural look to terrain. It could be put through the coffee grinder if required.
Nice. I would like to try this. Where do you buy the wood pellet cat litter? I've never heard of this.
The brand I use is Tescos own , most supermarkets or pet stores have a wood pellet cat litter .
Thank you very much,
Awesome tutorial man. About to flock my suntree soon with a different material but I'm gonna try this way next time!
+Roll for Damage thank you. Always good to play with non craft materials for craft applications as can save your self a fortune.
Aha! As you had pointed out! This will be amazing for staining miniature floors and furniture. Much better than the paint. Very cool! Ty!

So glad ya didn't raid the cat box, mate. The cat would be pissed. Aye, I use the food colouring to colour my ground up chalk.
I have enough issues with the cat as it is, she thinks she owns the table I craft on and like video bombing .
Hi is the die a powder steve and where did u get it please colin
These are sugar flair colours used in cooking they are a paste.
I am not sure were my wife hot them but expect amazon.
Cool!
Great idea for "budget" material... looks good!
Best tutorial so far.

question. why did you use food colour instead of paint?
Both work , I used paint in my flock video so thought I give food colouring a go .
