    For all my fellow Oregon Duck fans, this is how we win against the Buckeyes again…. We have to have 100% faith in our Ducks this year. This is not like years in the past when we would get close but not be able to win big games…. This Ducks team is special and it’s our year, we have beat them beat them the last two times we’ve played them so it is absolutely possible we do it again. Just look at Michigan, they knew they could beat them and they did. I expect us all not to feel that looming dread we used to have. Have 100% faith in these young men and they will be able to beat them! SCO DUCKS

    Seemed like every time Will Howard dropped back to pass, he stood in the pocket for like 5 minutes surveying the field, Tennessee had no pass rush. That's not happening with Oregon, Howard better have his head on a swivel because it's coming. As far as the point spread, I guess the odds makers aren't entertained yet, but they will be. Go Ducks!!!

    If Alexander is good at stopping the run, this could be a great addition. At any rate, I trust this staff to know what they're doing with portal picks as the track record is outstanding. It's a really nice feeling that we can have so much trust in a coaching staff to make the decisions that are best for the program. They're not perfect, obviously, but for the first time in almost 4 decades of being a Duck fan and paying close attention, I don't feel like I need to question every decision. Don't get me wrong, I thought Bellotti and Kelly were good coaches, but both had some glaring weaknesses that I don't see in Dan Lanning and his assistants. There's always going to be room for improvement, but I trust Dan to self evaluate and improve what needs to be improved.

      We beat them without Burch, he's gonna be back and he will be a game changer, especially against a patchwork offensive line. Tennessee pressured Howard but couldn't stop the run to save their lives. We shouldnt have that problem if they get themselves together after penn state

    I like getting Bear. He can be great. He can be a quality reserve that works out like Nishad Strother at guard. He can be an out of shape slug that is only good for garbage time.
    Newsflash Spencer: playing with other good players will most likely raise the grades.
    I think if Bear is motivated, he will get in great shape in the offseason conditioning program. Or he could just drift and be mediocre. I think that will determine how good he turns out.
    I am optomistic that Bear will be great. When he plays with other good D linemen, it will help. When he plays on a good team and gets lots of playing time, he will be motivated.

    Have not watched any Tulane Football games this year but chose to watch the Tulane - Florida game specifically to see how Ty Thompson did. Wow! I was genuinely surprised how poorly he played. Looks like Oregon's coaching staff knew that Thompson probably peaked in high school.

    I dont like the Alexander addition. He has shown that when he is not producing and coaches put other people in, he pulls the eject button instead of competing. How are the kids suppose to compete for that spot against him when he has shown he feels entitled to start even if he is not producing? If he gets challenged by other players for that spot, instead of competing, he complains and becomes a distraction. We will see if he can deal with competition and we will see if the coaching staff can deal with his entitlement issues.

    • @dariusp257
      @dariusp257 День тому

      @tommyboy657 I have been keeping up with SC all year. Look at his PFF numbers. His production was down, others started to play more snaps and he pulled the plug on his season. We will see if history repeats. Oregon has some good dudes at those spots. We will see if the coaches are going to let them compete and if he is going to match their level of play or pull the eject button again. No excuse for quiting on his team mid season. I am sure Dan knows the kid and feels he can get the best out of him. If he wants to take this project on, more power to him.

    The USC defense has massively underachieved in recent years. I'm willing to believe Bear was affected by a dysfunctional system. That doesn't explain the departure from Georgia. But there is no doubt that there could be a huge difference in simple maturity, from age 18 to age 21. My faith is on the duck coaches who know the back story and made this move.

    After thinking further about next season i believe Oregon will need to lean heavier into a strong running game while Dante improves his game and gaining experience. Nothing beats experience at QB which we have benefited greatly the past 3 years. I just don't see our QB play to be as efficient due to lack of experience. I hope Dante proves me wrong. And Spencer... it's pronounced Kron-Dean-ik 👍

    I think you give too much credit to Tennessee. I really think the SEC collectively outside of Texas and maybe Georgia is mediocre at best. I don’t think Ohio State necessarily made any revelations, Tennessee just got exposed for not being what people thought.

    The only decisions the cf committee should make are the rankings each week till the end of the regular season. Conference championship's have no impact on rankings. Brackets should be 8(my choice) or 16 with no more bye's. Highest rank team in each match have home field advantage till the semi's. Then we can have a true champion without all the stupid nonsense. Why is this so difficult.

    Tennessee game plan on defense was garbage. They were playing man to man all night long, idiotic. Michigan gave you the blueprint, bracket smith and keep a 2 high safety look and dare them to run the ball. As good as the buckeyes O line was they didn’t run the ball all that much because they didn’t have too. Oregon won’t give the buckeyes that easy of a picture

    If there were no auto bids for the 12 team playoff, why would a 2-loss Georgia team deserve to get in after losing their starting QB?
