Yes! 😁 In the pattern there are instructions for sewing the strap tabs in next to the zip which you don't need a rivet press for. And for the handles, where I've used rivets, you can sew the ends of the handles, next to the rectangle ring and at the end, or sew a box depending on the look you're going for. I would probably use a thinner fabric than cork if you're doing the two toned straps or just do one layer to make it easier to sew. Hope that helps 🤗
Hi 👋 the outer fabrics, white and black, are cork fabrics. The lining fabrics are all quilting cottons and the interfacing/stabilisers are medium weight non-woven fusible for the quilting cottons and Decovil Light for the outer. Hope that helps 😁
