Very well done, great rendition, sounds identical. I've always wanted to learn this too, do you have any of the transcription on paper/notated? Any tips for learning it, learn one at hand a time and then combine it and slowly speed up?

Thanks Orson. I do have a notated version somewhere which helped confirm what I was hearing. For the most part 1) familiarising yourself with the audio through repeated listening 2) singing along with the tune, even the solos 3) use UA-cam at 0.25x speed (which is painstaking, admittedly) 4) do a section/part of a section each practise session and little by little bring those parts together.
I found that by starting small (maybe an intro) is best and then build your way up to 1 minute/2minute/3 minute transcriptions.
Next, is there a way you can write down the chord sequence of the piece? Simple A/B sections will help you when you do come onto the improvisations, especially when identifying LH shells (which can be tricky to find in the mix). Hope this helps!
