Yes almost every burst build is countered by a simple dodge, thats why ambush is necessary. I also like to open with Sword 5 + JI to start with the Immob so they can't dodge and force a cleanse.
This class is kinda dumb. It have mobility like a thief but with lots of boons, more sustain and its huge aoe damage. Should be easy to avoid the burst like the dude said in the other comment said but if u avoid the inital burst, it have like 3 more to come and lots of simbols making the damage constant to. Some things like this with low risk high reward makes me sad in gw2
Yea almost every EoD spec is super boosted to make them easy and overpowered, it is clearly on purpose, Anet wants this to bait people into buying the expansion it was always very clear.

Willbender is a better rogue then thief which is supposed to be the rogue of the game
Guardian has this tendency to steal other classe's identities and then just be better than them at their own job.

wb is just stupid, strong burst and mobility. i especially hate to chase them, so much instant teleports and movement skills
