Honestly, Maggie was the discovery and the Toxicity for Alex. With Kelly she's in a HEALTHY relationship and because that's what people are not used to watch they believe it's the same has not having chemistry. Just my opinion, but even tough Sanvers was cute, Dansen is ENDGAME 🥰🥰
If this relationship continues I need more screen time for them, right now I don’t see much chemistry but just maybe if they add more time for them they might grow on me
Let's be honest, after season 2 the showrunners have a big problem with creating romantic relationships. Alex and Kelly are cute together but I don't feel any chemistry. Alex and Maggie were great in season 2. Nia and Brainy were...good (more or less) in season 4. Season 5 was...let's just say it was complicated. J'onn and M'gann had chemistry in season 2. I don't remember if it was there in that short appearance in season 3 but in season 5...I don't know. They were cute but I kind of felt like I was missing something but I really don't know. Lena and James had zero chemistry. Kara and William have no chemistry. I can't say much about James and Kara because I still haven't watched the entire season 1 and I also haven't seen much of the first half of the season 2 (I'm planning to watch it someday though, I just don't know when). I didn't really like Monel in season 2 but in season 3, he was way better and had some chemistry with Kara. Kara and Lena have chemistry but the writers say they are only friends. Don't get me wrong, I'm okay with them only being friends but at the same time, it would make sense to me if they ended up together. Also, Alex and Sam had some chemistry in season 3, even though they were only friends. Okay, that would be it. I hope I didn't forget to mention anything. Whoever is going to read it, have a nice day or night, in that matter.

What saddens me is that they don't concentrate much on interactions between characters which is why some things look so forced. I mean, the plot IS important, but so are those interactions. Some characters that are supposed to be friends or are in a romantic relationship with each other have only a few scenes (and sometimes they don't talk the entire season) and even in those it just feels... I don't even know how to name that feeling. Maybe odd is the right word for it. I just hope that since season 6 is the last season, they will do justice to all of the characters and give them the happy ending they all deserve. One more thing. I would really appreciate it if they stopped forcing Kara and William. It is certainly not a slow burn. Kara and Lena on the other hand are. Okay, that should be all. I'm fine with actors/actresses impersonating bad characters, so long as they're portrayed *as* bad characters- and shown clearly by their *deeds*... this's not at all against the *actresses* in this show who did these roles; rather it is diametrically against the show's *writers* who did some truly profoundly unethical stuff by randomizing solid morals in the meantime over the course of this show.
