I'm not a beginner, so that is quite a rude assumption. But it is not evident what you are doing in the missing part... I have over 15 years experience, and even teach macrame sometimes... so I know the knots quite well..
Hi 👋🏼 this is Beautiful!❤ but, was there 1 step was skipped, right before the string were pushed up. ???The step after the first ring was done & the single knots were in done. It looks like there was square knots that were joined together & then the single knots continued again. It seemed to jumped to the strings being pushed up looking a jelly fish 😊.As we were shown how the center single knots to be tied to place the lights. This step skipped May confuse beginners if they don’t understand. JS besides that excellent job!!!
Hi! Thank you for your comment! This is not a beginner pattern, but it is as you said: alternating half hitches stitched with square knots that were joined together. I usually don’t have bugs, but this one can’t be called a bug either.
I agree!! It confuses me as to what to do next after going all the way around with the 1/2 hitch knots after 1st ring!! Please advise!! Because I really want to make this & don’t want to screw it up!!!💗🙏💗🙏
Yes I agree, the step is missing. You went from the first steps showing half hitch, making it 12cm long. To no measurements, or instructions explaining the jellyfish?

what a shame this tutorial has such a glaring gap between 7.25 and 7.27. I see that you state this is not a beginners tutoiral by why post one that is incomplete. I have been doing macrame for well over 30 years - and this is a gorgeous lamp project - but one that is sadly misleading as a huge step has been cut from the video. It is sad that when asked about this error that you have been very dismissive. I will work through it frame by frame to work out what happens after 7.25 but what a shame. This project you could have made into a PDF tutorial and sold it as a sellable instructional project/booklet. It would have been very popular and a good selling item.

Secondly. This is a part tutorial ?. You get to tier 3 in the video and then it finishes ?. Without showing attaching the lower hoop and creating the fringe. My goodness I have cut of my yarn lengths - what an absolute waste. This is a great lantern. You should publish and sell a how-to-pdf for this project and at least make some money from it. (Which may explain why you havent offered a complete tutorial on this). Frustrating to say the least. 😢

Just connect with square knots between alternating half hitch knots.. (in the middle).. Sorry if I offended... that wasn't my intention :)
