@erickrolled2910 That is not a good idea. For more logical ways in spending those gems is to get good characters before doing the event. It is not as easy to save up gems as in the start trust me don't make my mistake on the Rimiru Collab😭🙏

Probably 6 months plus minus 1 or 2 months. Thats a rough estimation. You can get a more concise number if you ask on GT discord on how long to gather 100k gems
