- Skyliner Everest Run 2024 is behind us!
The 8th edition of the Everest Run took place on February 17th and 18th. For the second year in a row, the 24-hour stair climb was held in the Skyliner office building in Warsaw's Wola district - the flagship investment of Karimpol Group. Participant records were broken!
2,310 floors - that's what it took to climb to the height of Mount Everest. This year, a total of 235 brave souls took on this daring challenge - 60 more than in the previous edition. Bartłomiej Całka was the fastest to reach the goal, conquering the 42 floors of the Skyliner 55 times in 11 hours and 38 minutes. But he didn't stop there, ultimately finishing the race after 98 climbs, which was the best result of this year's edition. He also broke last year's height record by 50.5 meters, climbing to 15,900.5 meters. Among women, Klaudia Krajewska made the most appearances on the 42nd floor, doing so 74 times. During this year's edition, 82 individual competitors and 16 relay teams reached the summit of Everest. Special recognition is also due to Marek Piotrowski (68 years old), who proved that age is just a number - he climbed Skyliner 20 times. Individual records, however, are secondary. The most important aspect is supporting the noble initiative - the purchase of pulse oximeters and equipment for clearing airways for the Medical Support Group.
