Cotton Top , you must do a Lot of editing ! Cause I've changed buckets to hammers or what not . And there's All ways some kind of bad language going on ! You guys Rock ! Keep up the great work !
When our excavator was new they didn't shim the coupler and it had almost a 1/8th of play in it. drove me nuts until I shimmed it. Nice repair job btw!
I was just getting ready to ask you, imagine how much wood has passed through those tongs when you said it! I think thats the first time Jay gave you a "yep" instead of a "uh-huh"! Nice work by all! heres to another 16,500
looks like a good job at the fab shop, pin went back into place no problem and everything works smoothly, tongs lined up straight... time will tell what kind of a job they did on the bushing alignment, if they wear evenly... mind you, if the pin is snug but turns ok it's close enough for the girls we're gonna chase around the bush...
I don't have a single clue about rotobec parts or how they design their products but I do know from experience with John Deere equipment that that have a weird way of doing things sometimes with hydraulics.
Great video Tim thanks for sharing have a great day
THAT'S A LOT OF WORK ON THE GRAPPLE WOW!

Lol, actually, rarely is anything bad said while the camera is rolling.

Nice to have a good machinist on your side that's some nice work
I am new to rotobec grapples. However my log loader has a rotobec. How do you like yours?? Are parts easy to get for them??
Yeah, they have dealers everywhere
Nice fix Jay and Tim..You all have a great day ..
Great video Tim
I bet Jay loves it when you call. Somebody that good ain't cheap.

Nice job on fixing that. Some really clean wields. Great video
You grease things well. That is a lot of hours compared to most farm tractors. Shows you take good care of your equipment.

great job fellas👍
Putting shims in there should help good video tim say hello to Jay. Did you get your plates put in there and welded
Another great video of the struggles of a logger.
Rotobec sure makes a good grapple. That plug is interesting, could it maybe be a pressure relief of some kind?
did the tire puncture at 5.43 ?
looks like the slime we work in lol !
Do we thing the cracking around the pin boss contributed to the main pin braking?
good morning Tim.
nice video
Your videos are of your daily routine? I just started watching, very interesting.
That is correct. Thank you for watching!
Lots of stress on that thing for sure and a millions cycles it is bound to stress crack after a while..
It's not as if your ruff on the machine? How the hell did that get ripped out like that? Could if of been because of the main pin snapping again?
What did that weld job cost ? Bet it wasn't cheap!! People dt understand it cost alot to keep equipment running !!! They do alot of work ...
What does that plug actually do? Is that part of a holding cartridge that helps in case a hose blows with a grapple full?
I’m not sure exactly what it’s for but it’s not a lock if a hose blows.
it's probably a reverse port if the cylinder is made to work on either side of the grapple, keeps the hoses oriented to inside the clam...
That looks like a pressure regulating valve for the cylinder. Not sure if it is or not since it isn't hooked up to a cylinder line.

Caterpillar does lots of strange and interesting things that way too, perhaps moreso than John Deere
Hey hat guy can I borrow a pen?
I wonder if that pin boss being broke and it being able to move and walk a little bit contributed to y'all breaking that main pin a little more often
strong argument for that being the case huh?
It will be fine, just put that big KIOR bolt through it ;-)
if that don't work, treat it like a dog would; kick dirt on that sh!t and walk away! lol
Man the times it's been hauled. Talking about dodging a bullet.
That looked like a spendy repair...
Next time just duct tape it 60,s I you don't have to go home Lmao
