The Tree Change - and the ABSURD amount of WORK being done [Northern Rivers] Oct 2021

We've gone from one fairly leafy area to another, only further inland, and a bit more rural. So I've spent a fair bit of time logging this move within residences on the Northern Rivers, mostly so I can be talked out of it if I ever get the urge to move again.
It's a painful process when it involves so much time rectifying things to "how you'd have them" instead of the way someone else had the place setup. Obviously, this takes not only time but money as well, and this place was only built about 13 years ago, but the people that owned it before us looked as though they were stuck living in the 1970's.
It only had one TV aerial point, no internet access, and the place looked as though it was a storage facility for random junk collected over the years. In other words, it was an old (and technologically inept) hoarder's paradise. It's like the previous residents didn't wanna know about the 21st century. Anyway, we've taken drastic steps to rectify all that.
We did get the house for quite cheap, but it's come with its own share of "other problems" which are either being, have been or will be rectified. It feels like the whole house (and land) is in a state of flux. Thanks for watching, there will be more to come soon.
