This is why I love Bauer. Because he always has these rage moments where he's like "F** it, you're all dead to me". Eric Carter is good, but just Bauer is soo much more better in my eyes. More emotion, drama, and action.
I'm still amazed that Kiefer didn't get any Emmy nominations here, dude just portrayed like 4 emotions in one scene effortlessly. How the fuck do you do that?
I did this in call of duty Modern Warfare back in Christmas week at shipment map, 32 kills nonstop. I shouted "I just jack bauered all you motherfuckers."
If there is one thing i`ve learned from watching 24, is that Jack Bauer is a War Machine & you don`t want to be on the receiving end when he is beyond pissed off.
Favorite scene in Day 6 was when Doyle walked into where Jack had murdered Fayed and his men. He slowly looks around from Jack on the ground, to like 7 dead bodies, and finally to Fayed hanging by a chain. "Damn Jack."
I didn't think they could give us another classic Jack moment in LAD, then I saw this and I was like best Bauer moment ever. LAD was everything I thought it would be and more.
Sadly, what Heller said to Jack near the end of Day 6 was correct…twice… “You’re cursed, Jack. Everything you touch, one way or another, ends up dead.” And later, at Heller’s house: “Simply getting your life back isn’t going to change who you are, Jack. And you can’t walk away from it…you know that; you’ve tried it. Sooner or later you’re gonna want to get back in the game…and my daughter is going to pay the price…like your wife did.”
Mills and Borne could probably take lessen from Jack, his killed more than both combined, hell the only goverment agent/spy to kill more than him is James Bond and thats only if you count all 12 incarnations of him
You can only imagine the kind of fury Jack was under beating the shit out of Cheng after all that torture he endured in China, and for taking the woman he'd loved and the only one he'd seen a future with since Terri died.
Jack Southworth I'm glad Jack cut his head off. He made Jack and Audrey's life hell and killed the one woman he ever loved. Not only did he do it out of revenge for the torture they endured and for killing Audrey, but he did it so he wouldn't have to deal with him ever again.
Speaking of which, as I was gleefully reflecting on Cheng Zi's just desserts, I just realized...how exactly DID his decapitation even get past FOX censorship?
0:55 Some fans interpret him going for his pistol like this as a potential sign that he intended to commit suicide, but instead sought to send every man on the entire ship (save for his one ally) into an early grave. Oh, and if you're wondering how many men that is, the answer is twenty, including Cheng. Four offscreen kills are not officially counted (see the wiki for more details), but this is about four times as potent as his spree at the end of Day 8. EDIT: Actually, SIX offscreen kills, so 22 total deaths at the hands of Jack in these few minutes!
Daniel Hindson they made a joke about that in kingsman, I totally thought they were just talking about Justin Bieber when he called his dog JB at first lol
wow top fight scene. really thought he was just going to shoot himself but then again jack was goimg to get cheng back for killing Audrey. those men didn't even stand a chacme against jack. when hes pissed of he's pissed and there's no stopping him. Bauer is by far one of the hardest character in television history
This season would have been way better if Jack tortured some terrorists. He only briefly tortured the terrorist lady, then apologized. The real Jack Bauer would never hesitate to torture a terrorist. For that reason, I don't consider Season 9 to be a legitimate addition to the first 8 seasons.
I still haven't forgiven 24 for this. Seriously, I know it's not in the shows nature but couldn't they have done something a little less predictable and spared somebody for once? I'm sure Jack still would've killed him either way.
Mercy for Chang and his men? Absolutely not; They got what was coming to them. Mercy for Jack? Yes. For once, I wanted to see him catch a break. I guess I wasn't clear in my original comment. If wanting someone, albeit a fictional character to catch a break for once in his life after losing so much makes me a pussy...
Yeah, I get that... But the whole point is every woman Jack gets romantically involved with ends up dead. That's what this line of work does. So before you decide YOU want to be a "Secret Agent Man"... well, think twice. I feel like if the tragedy for Jack ends, the show ends... But it already has. Seriously, let him be with someone... and the clock should reset back to 00:00:00 with a brand new hero. It should have either ended with Jack winding up with someone and disappearing into a new life with her... or with Jack dying... I would not call "Live Another Day" a particularly memorable finale.
Here's a fun question. Who's more badass? Jack or the punisher from the Netflix series? I say that specifically because I don't know the comics well. I think they're both amazing but jack wins in my book. I just rewatched all of 24 and took note of his skills. He speaks russian and german, can fly a helicopter, and is pretty savvy with tech when he needs to be. Plus he has better self control when he needs it. My final points to jack is he handles torture really really well. Just ask the Chinese.....
Who killed first? Audrey or Detective Joss Carter? Looks like Person of Interest is taking a que from 24. Just like Jack Bauer, John Reese went ballistic killing the bad guys.
+milestone380 Perhaps, but 24 started in 2001 and never had any problems with killing off popular, major characters. You could do a top 24 of deaths on the show and STILL be missing some major ones. 24 did this even way before other shows like Game of Thrones did this.
movieman82us That's true. the only main character to die on Person of Interest is Detective Carter. Shaw doesn't count because of what they said in the last 2 episodes of season 4 and they haven't confirmed whether Elias lived or not
Jack had no reason to kill Cheng for revenge. He was going to kill him one way or the other. He already made that mistake with Renee. Jack doesn't make mistakes twice. I think he was for a minute going through the possibility of relapsing back to his murderious ways but he was strong enough to not to because he knew he had no reason. Jack could live with Audrey being dead. When Audrey died, Jack was finally free from her so this scene is all about him being reborn and finally being himself again. As heartbreaking as it was, this time it was Audrey's own fault that she died because she arranged her meeting poorly. She should've set up her meeting at presidents residence or at the Chinese embassy. She made herself an easy target by going out there in public. Audrey was also incapable of putting millions of innocent peoples lives ahead of herself. She constantly begged Cheng for her life and she was hesitant to follow Kate's instructions. If Jack would've decided to save Audrey and letting Cheng to get away, his honor and integrity would've been destroyed. He remembered the last time he put her life above national security. Jack's learned his lesson. In this season, Jack finally came to terms with his true feelings for Chloe. He realized that what he truly wants has always been right in front of him, he's just been too blind to see it with his melodramas with Audrey and Renee. During Jack and Chloe's car scene, while listening her to crucify herself over the days events he desperately wanted to come clean with her about his true feelings but instead she friendzoned him. His dejected expression was heartbreaking. But he started to show her his love for her through small actions hence him shooting the door open for her and their charged moment before heading after Cheng. Even Chloe was confused about his actions like he was acting weird. Their moment really felt like they wanted to kiss each other because they didn't know if they're going to make it out of this alive. But when he gave up his freedom to save her life when he double backed at her, he saw that she's still in love with him like she's always has been. She's too afraid to admit that herself and to him. That's why he smiled when he boarded the chopper. He was amused about her being too stubborn to admit what she really wants.
Zain844 oh shhh fat boy wouldn stand a chance. Bauer is meant be a lean, mean, super assassin. Cheng a tubby diplomat. It's like Kim Jong Un fighting Jason Bourne
This is why I love Bauer. Because he always has these rage moments where he's like "F** it, you're all dead to me". Eric Carter is good, but just Bauer is soo much more better in my eyes. More emotion, drama, and action.
No comparison
That moment when the look on Jack's face turns from shock and grief into pure rage. You know people are about to die, mercilessly.
I was just like "OOOOOH SHIIIIT!" When I saw that look....even I crapped myself a little
I'm still amazed that Kiefer didn't get any Emmy nominations here, dude just portrayed like 4 emotions in one scene effortlessly. How the fuck do you do that?
Easily my favourite scene in the whole show
I did this in call of duty Modern Warfare back in Christmas week at shipment map, 32 kills nonstop. I shouted "I just jack bauered all you motherfuckers."
This scene alone proves that Bauer just couldn't/ wouldn't take anymore. Kiefer Sutherland should have won something for his portrayal this season.
They made him president :P
I agree
If there is one thing i`ve learned from watching 24, is that Jack Bauer is a War Machine & you don`t want to be on the receiving end when he is beyond pissed off.
If you mess with his country, he'll come after you. But if you mess with his loved ones, he will absolutely destroy you.
Damn Right!
Favorite scene in Day 6 was when Doyle walked into where Jack had murdered Fayed and his men. He slowly looks around from Jack on the ground, to like 7 dead bodies, and finally to Fayed hanging by a chain.
"Damn Jack."
You meant to say that if he's pissed off, you better not be anywhere near him.
that moment when you see a man lose every hope and choose to take everyone to hell with him
Princesse.elou
That is an exceptionally accurate representation of what’s happening in this scene
the best jack bauer moment ever.
I didn't think they could give us another classic Jack moment in LAD, then I saw this and I was like best Bauer moment ever. LAD was everything I thought it would be and more.
The parallels between this scene and when Nina told him that the Drazens killed Kim really sell this, especially as a series finale.
Terri. Renee. Audrey. Damn, Jack can never find peace.
I cried like a baby with renee
Should go back to Kate from Season 2... she had good chemistry with Jack.
Sadly, what Heller said to Jack near the end of Day 6 was correct…twice…
“You’re cursed, Jack. Everything you touch, one way or another, ends up dead.”
And later, at Heller’s house:
“Simply getting your life back isn’t going to change who you are, Jack. And you can’t walk away from it…you know that; you’ve tried it. Sooner or later you’re gonna want to get back in the game…and my daughter is going to pay the price…like your wife did.”
Imagine you are a father and Jack asks your daughter out on a date?
@@MarioFaker She also was the prettiest.
Imagine Brian Mills, Jason Bourne, and Jack Bauer being teamed up or pitted against each other.
Mills and Borne could probably take lessen from Jack, his killed more than both combined, hell the only goverment agent/spy to kill more than him is James Bond and thats only if you count all 12 incarnations of him
And Punisher
Having them pitted against each other would be far more interesting than them teaming up though.
This reminds me of the Season 1 Drazen finale.
Bit of a homage I think
+James Hinson I agree
I'm pretty sure they intended it to be like the Drazen finale. The call about a loved one's death, and then Jack going beast mode.
+Abhay Bhanot except they actually killed someone unlike Kim's "death" which was made up
it reminds me of the Drazen finale, and also the Season 6, when he killed Abu Fayed and his men.
lesson 1 dont piss off jack bauer
lesson 2 don't kill his loved ones remember what he did to the guy who killed renee
2:12-2:44 Absolute massacre.
"That right there is why you are the best boss!"
The one and only!
Killing Spree
Rampage
Dominating
Unstoppable
Godlike
What do yoy expect Jack in death incarnate, he's singlehandledly killed over 300 people on screen alone
HOLY SHIT-SHIT-SHIT-SHIT
1:06 Once he hears voices, obstructing his path now constitutes a capital offense.
2:38 "...You would have died an old man."
Jack Bauer going crazy was so entertaining to watch. I had a lot of good times wathcing this series.
I'm reminded why I love this show
Goddamn, Jack is scary when he's pissed!
Jack attacked Tony in season 7 for his desire to avenge Michelle but he probably understands Tony at this point.
yeah but Kiefer will never put life's on line
But Kiefer do his job all the same time
The action in this show has never been bested. It was filmed to perfection… I have never seen a show since that was able to do action scenes like 24
Gangs of London came pretty close
“What happened to Cheng?”
“He lost his head.”
(Borrowed that from “Speed” - Dennis Hopper was in that movie before 24: Day 1)
You can only imagine the kind of fury Jack was under beating the shit out of Cheng after all that torture he endured in China, and for taking the woman he'd loved and the only one he'd seen a future with since Terri died.
Not the only woman.
Tyir Brown jack & renee were going to walk away together remember that?
it might be me, but wasn't the fight between Jack and Cheng longer on TV?
The look on jacks face from grief to instant rage said it all. Cheng’s fate was sealed. 😂
0:55
Some fans interpret him going for his pistol like this as a potential sign that he intended to commit suicide, but instead sought to send every man on the entire ship (save for his one ally) into an early grave.

EDIT: Actually, SIX offscreen kills, so 22 total deaths at the hands of Jack in these few minutes!
He wasn't sure he'd be able play the character again. Nailed it, shame it wasn't the best series.
Hahahaha, imagine telling Jack this just before he went into battle
Avenging for Audrey is sweet but not like in the case of Renee Walker
Jack Bauer: Hardened Mode!
2:18 Damn, Cheng can throw down?
Bourne and Bond couldn't stop this guy.
+Samuel Ngumii Jason Bourne, James Bond, Jack Bauer = JB, JB, JB, that's really original but so awesome.
Samuel Ngumii justin bieber : jb??
Daniel Hindson they made a joke about that in kingsman, I totally thought they were just talking about Justin Bieber when he called his dog JB at first lol
Bourne would take Baur
Samuel Ngumii Bout John Wick? Or the Punisher?
"we both have the chance to get what we want Mr. Bauer " Cheng zhi voice lol
C'mon man, you couldn't upload the part where he chops off Cheng's head??
I know! That was easily the best kill out of all of these in this scene!
I think FOX still wants people to pay to watch all this...
FOX wants to protect their intellectual property? How odd.
That part where he threw the butcher knife made up for it...
such a phenomenal scene! Keifer Sutherland should have won an Oscar for so many of these scenes
He did win an Emmy for Season 5 and a Golden Globe for Season 4.
Of course when Jack gets the news, it's when Jack heard about "Kim's Death" on Day One all over again. Like whenever Bruce Lee tastes his own blood...
wow top fight scene. really thought he was just going to shoot himself but then again jack was goimg to get cheng back for killing Audrey. those men didn't even stand a chacme against jack. when hes pissed of he's pissed and there's no stopping him. Bauer is by far one of the hardest character in television history
Damn, Jack.
- Mike Doyle
Jack Bauer vs Sam Fisher, now that'd be a match up i'd love to see.
Muy buena serie.!!👏👏 Mis respetos para tooodos desde el que barre, los actores, los dobles, hasta el que escribe., Etc. Felicidades a todos. 👋
I miss Jack Bauer.
I can't stop hearing Big Boss. I keep waiting for him to say "Kept ya waitin' huh?"
Well, he's keeping me waiting.
one of the best series
he almost committed suicide
Jack never has a moment of self pity and decides to off himself.. he goes off and starts taking them down.
Damn cheng got some martial arts moves
this remember me charles logan screaming "is jack bauer!!! and come for me!" LUL
Cheng couldn't go down without a fight
He probably would have been better off.
The only moment that can rival this one is back in season 2, where Jack goes full sniper mode
That knife through the jaw human shield room clearing.
Wow, reflex mode and aim assist really helped here.
He is big boss after all. lol
the music leading up to the rampage just sounds like pure hatred.
Bauer wanted this payback from the abduction in Season 5. We all knew it would have to come sooner or later.
so this is chapter 3 ? i love it konami good job
What season is this???
Jack channeling in Kratos’s Spartan Rage.
That flick the knife lure into the neck stab into the human shield into the room clearing into the kung fu fight 😳😱
I just hate how easy Cheung gets off so easy after all the horrible shit he caused
Jack will always be a legit fucking badass
This season would have been way better if Jack tortured some terrorists.
He only briefly tortured the terrorist lady, then apologized. The real Jack Bauer would never hesitate to torture a terrorist. For that reason, I don't consider Season 9 to be a legitimate addition to the first 8 seasons.
This man went through so much
He looks old as how late in is this?
Don't hit Jack, you'll only make him mad.
Great clip. I missed some of the episodes. Who was Jack's friend? It was good he had that guy with him on the ship.
he is just a guy that used to help jack from time to time, like that guy who helped jack in series 8 with that juggernaut outfit
Thanks Adam. I appreciate that. Take care.
hes more then some guy. Belcheck says around episode 5 that without Jack he wouldn't have been alive, so Jack saved his life.
Myron J that's Belcheck, he came to London with Jack to help him, he s a former Serbian mobster
Beastmode: ON
Jack is unkillable, remember he has also survived nuclear explosions in addition to being bulletproof
His heart stopped twice
And he got infected by a biological weapon.
Never go full jack!
Why was there no season 10?
there's 24 legacy next year, it won't be season ten, and Jack won't appear.
Kiefer himself said "We'll see."
*DAMMIT*
I was this good at the end of MGS V. Now I'm not. Him voicing Snake got me into watching 24. After that I started listening to his country album. :D
Country is not exactly my type of music, but my god he is an awesome singer!
Yeah :D
Jack Bauer is the man we all need to be or at least a few that need to have now me? i want to be one of the few
the fight between jack n cheng shoudda been longer
No. Cheng Zhi was tooooo overpowered
I still haven't forgiven 24 for this. Seriously, I know it's not in the shows nature but couldn't they have done something a little less predictable and spared somebody for once? I'm sure Jack still would've killed him either way.
+Dorvell Stewart You want mercy? Go watch Lifetime for Women or something. Leave the grown up shows to the grown ups.
+Joey M X lol dude 😂
Mercy for Chang and his men? Absolutely not; They got what was coming to them. Mercy for Jack? Yes. For once, I wanted to see him catch a break. I guess I wasn't clear in my original comment. Jack gets a little closure, kidnapped and tortured by chang, then Audrey's kidnapping and mental breakdown, then her murder.

What season is this from
Live Another Day. Season 9
24 live another day aka 24 season 9 anyway it’s episode 12 after the halfway point
that beautiful moment when you say: kill the motherfucker!!! do it jack!!!!!
Why on earth would you leave out the decapitation?
Jesus, he fucked them up.
They started it
GET THEM JACK
bien aime
Cheng mightve gotten off lucky
They could've captured him and had him tortured for 2 years like he tortured Jack for 20 months.
Yes
I like angry Jack
Bauer 2020
1:07 There Will Be Blood
Go Jack Bauer!!!
En français svp

❤
Whoa didn't Jack beat the shit out of Winnie the Pooh
How is fat Cheng a match for Bauer in a fist fight?
Zain844 oh shhh fat boy wouldn stand a chance. Bauer is meant be a lean, mean, super assassin. Cheng a tubby diplomat. It's like Kim Jong Un fighting Jason Bourne
Zain844 that is proper fat and Jason Bourne is about 50 and Bauer is. Age is just a number whdn you're proper hard.
Zain844 I perceive by your defence you are a fat man
Zain844 plenty of boxers still going into middle age and there always has been. Chubby Cheng
Zain844 try telling Bourne, Bond and Bauer that
😱
Triggered.
