This was the very 1st of the Famous Fives adventures, there were over 20. A great series. The Secret Seven are also a good read/listen. It's great to find them all again.
As someone who immigrated to th U.S. as an infant, my grandmother in the U.K. used to send me "famous five" books..... they lined up with the Hardy boys, and Alfred Hitchcock and the three investigators that I usually read nicely.
Used to listen to these to fall asleep as a kid and my imagination went wild- like a movie in my head! Listening now as an adult for some childhood comfort to send me to sleep 💤🥰
I'm 47 years young and absolutely adore Enid Blyton. My fave is five go off to camp, and of course the folk of the faraway tree! My comforting cosy little world still exists just for me!!
Hi , I am Mário, I red quite everything when I was a child from Enid Blyton, in Portugal, but I red in portuguese, and now with 63 years old, and retired, with time, I decided to read in English
Love Enid blyton! I’m 9 years old ( yes I know I’m very young) but I used to listen to Enid blyton books when I was falling asleep. Yes I know! I’m 9 very queer!
When I was young in the 40a and 50sEnid Blytonwas banned from libraries. My daughter read all her books at 7. She became a brilliant Dr. as I did a published writer.
I've listened to this since I was a baby

I'm 68 and just found these books. I have really enjoyed listening to this first of the series and will be listening to the rest as well.

Thank for the ads during an audiobook ... couldn't have enjoyed it more!!!
This reminds me of the late 90's cassette version I used to fall asleep to as a child. So magical and nostalgic!
