Cute cards Therese. If I had leftover cup cakes, they would be real of course. What would I do with them...I would eat them. If they were paper I would make a pop-up card like your whale shark and girl card. I really love that card.
I find the steps to quick and hard to follow but you did a great job. They are beautiful and fun. Definitely easy for someone who knows what they are doing. ❤
Thank you for the feedback Marlene, I am glad you enjoyed the cards, did you know that you can pause or slow down videos (although it makes my voice sound weird, so it may be fun to do)😊 I also have a newer video here sharing 2 interactive techniques, it has a free download with all of the measurements etc ua-cam.com/video/_YjShy0kxPc/v-deo.html Hope this helps, Crafty hugs Therese
This wonderful and easy to follow tutorial just earned you a new subscriber. Thank you for speaking slowly and clearly. Everyone like me who is a no native English speaker appreciates it! Crafty hugs from Germany 🇩🇪
Yay! A BIG Welcome to you and thank you for subscribing! I hope that you can find more inspiration here, sit back though, and maybe grab a cuppa because I have over 1000 videos lol.
Ha! That last bit about 'leftover cupcakes' made me lol, Therese - there is no such thing around here! What fun ideas and you've brought each one to life so beautifully! Thanks, Therese! x
FANTASTIC CARDS Therese. I love them all. Penny Black images always make me smile. You certainly made these cards look easy. Thank you so much for demystifying these pop ups. Keep well. T x
Great tutorial, Therese! I loved watching how your cards came together and your instructions are the best I've seen! My kind of card, though, is the wobbly cupcake ;)
It's weird because it looks like it won't work... but it does, I just find that I have to adjust my piece of acetate util it pops 'more upright'... a 'bee' image would be really fun, but I've also seen one done with a Superhero too! Let me know if you need a little help x
These cards are so adorable with the little mice and their cupcakes! Thank you for showing us how to do the mechanisms without having to buy any dies, Therese!
I loved it... they are great cards! Those mice are adorable and I could picture on the second card the mouse coming down with a cat looking to get him.... oops...LOL. Mark & I have 5 kitties....
You had me at "you don't need any special dies." I love how you explain the process and appreciate there is a blog for details. I'm in the same boat with @LaurelSummers. I'm recently intrigued with pop up cards.
Ohh Therese I love these cards! It's great that you don't need any fancy expensive does to make them! I love your colour combo too! Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Therese, I'm really enjoying your pop-up card videos. You give such great instructions on doing them. I'm definitely using them as reference every time I want to give it a go. Looking forward to your next one. Thank you!
Absolutely adorable pop up cards and who doesn’t love pop ups? Even your bonus card is cute, I love wobbles! Can’t wait to try these, well similar as I don’t have those amazing cupcakes or adorable mice lol. Thanks so much for sharing, video is awesome 😊🇨🇦
The great thing about these designs is that you can use whatever you have on hand, so many different stamps / dies would suit. I've created them with houses, trees and even a unicorn floatie lol. Fish or even flowers would look great too... I think you get what I mean lol. Thanks for your lovely visit here today Brenda!
Hi, I am very new to card making, so need to learn all I can. I didnt realise you didnt have to use mechanism dies for all cards. You made this look so easy. Your cards are amazing, so cute. Thank you for sharing. You have a new sub. Luv from the UK
Oh yes Lynne, most of the 'mechanisms' were created 'after' the fact lol. Many interactive cards can be made without them and they often started that way, though... sometimes a die does make life much easier lol. So happy to have you here with me, I hope that you are inspired to check out some more videos, I have another Pop-Up video I did recently (without dies) you may want to check that out here ua-cam.com/video/05eOc5Sul2w/v-deo.html
Love these ideas! I tried a wiper card once and my image was too large, so it didn't hide well. You explained these cards so well. I will watch and read your blog to get the cuts and score lines correct. Thanks so much!!
These are SO fun! I am unaccountably interested in pop-up and 3-D cards lately and this is a perfect introduction. You step things out so clearly with such gentle enjoyment. It's a treat just to hear you explain the process. Thank you so much (as always) for the time and careful planning that go into your videos. I'll be saving and referring to these videos as I dig into making some myself. Did you use Copic or Altenew markers? The images look so crisp and clean!
Hi Laurel, I'm so very happy you enjoyed this and I would love you to share with me (if you can) when you have a chance to try these techniques. I agree they are such fun! I did some very simple Copic colouring for today's critters and I have added a full list in my coordinating blog post which you can find linked below. Hope this is helpful, Crafty hugs Therese
they are so stinking cute, especially the one with that little flying mouse🥰
I know right, who wouldn't love a flying mouse lol.
What cute ideas! I love the cupcakes, and the fact the there are no expensive dies needed is icing on the cupcakes. Keep up the good work.
I know right, it feels great to be able to create with just a trimmer and tape, totally going back to basics lol.
Fantastic! Thanks you for the smile I'm now wearing!. 🌻
Thank you Lisa, I had such fun making these cards, I'm glad you enjoyed them too!
Oh wow,, so pretty cards, Therese! ❤❤❤ Thank you for sharing your ideas!

Let me know how you go Cecile, I hope it works for you!
I love pop up cards, even for adults. Your wee mice are a sweet surprise for the recipients. Thank you, Therese.🇨🇦❤️❤️
I know right, more critters lol.
Cute cards Therese. If I had leftover cup cakes, they would be real of course. What would I do with them...I would eat them. If they were paper I would make a pop-up card like your whale shark and girl card. I really love that card.
Cheryl, there wouldn't be any leftover cupcakes in my house either lol. And YES, that whale shark card was very popular, I'm so happy you liked it!
FANTASTIC CARDS!!! So fun and cheerful! Love the colors!
Yay! Thank you Judi!

Great tutorial, Therese! I loved watching how your cards came together and your instructions are the best I've seen!
My kind of card, though, is the wobbly cupcake ;)
It was such a fun way to use up those 'left over' cupcakes lol. thank you Donna x
Hello from Illinois USA, I love cupcakes and making birthday cards too.
Me too, it's the only type of card I 'always' send out so I need a big stash ready to go.
Adorable! The mechanism looks a little confusing. I hope I can figure this out! Love it!

Sorry, please tell me what is the name of the little mouse stamps & dies. Tried in your description but no luck.
It is a Penny black set called It's Your Day... from memory x
@@lostinpaper Thanks, actually made this card yesterday in our SU workshop using dainty delight dies. Looks great, your version & the dainty.
@@suem3596 Sounds wonderful Sue, you can seriously use any stamps and dies you have. It sounds like you had fun!
