I discovered gym chalk by Kate comet crunch, my sister's always ask me why do you watch gym chalk what is good in it my mom too my friends don't know about this😊😂😅 so I just tell them because it's powdery and crunchy and there are a lot of asmr-artists and a lot of nice people to talk with 😊 ( I've never writed a long comment 😳)
One day i was searching "satisfying posts" on snapchat and i saw soap cutting asmr. It was relaxing to me but not that much. I was in canada in 2018 my cousin ordered some gymchalks for his gym. I crushed them and i felt so relaxed then i ordered more and kept on crushing, took some to pakistan too 😂 i never knew there were youtube channels who crush gymchalk and get satisfy like me. When "a powdery mess " uploaded her blue and white baking soda shaving video, youtube recommended it to me, after watching that video I opened her channel and found her crushing gymchalks. At that moment i was like whatttttt??? Some other people are also crazy like me???? I watched all of her videos and got addicted then i went in search of some new channels too. (Today i have my own asmr channel too)

Back in 2018 I was dealing with pica. I wanted to eat baking soda. So I looked up some you tube videos on the subject matter, and I came across Kate comet crunch. The asmr cleared my pica up. As I got into it more, gym chalk crushing sounds + look were the thing for me, and I’ve never looked back.
I first started watching soap crushing asmr and then gym chalk popped up in the suggestion, for me too apowderymess was the first and then the chrunchy-ness just lured me in and actually the 2nd channel I started to watch on daily basis was yours❤️ hehe. I started out watching sand cutting videos cuz I liked the crunch that it made after a cut on a hard surface, then one day Instagram recommended a baking soda shaving video from katecometcrunch that had me absolutely mesmerized. From there I graduated to gymchalk. At first I didn't watch it a lot a preferred pica videos but It grew on me (thanks to ader and bs mostly) My mom looks at me a bit weird sometimes when I watch🤣 but she keeps quiet cuz she knows I can be quirky

I got into gym chalk cause I loved powder detergent and at the time katecometcrunch was doing powder plays with detergent and comet so when she started doing gym chalks I loved it. That’s also when I found PowderyCrunches along with a whole bunch of other ones. I showed my whole family and I got all my sisters hooked. Even my friends see me watching it 24/7 and tell me that I’ve got a bad obsession😂

I m addicted to chalk since my school days. I was addicted to calcium carbonate chalk crushing and it was weired for everyone. Everyone scold me for this unusual habit. I've always been into ASMR before i evem knew there was a term for it. From as young as 8 my mum would find me in the bathroom with baby powder. I would play with sponges for hours on end and bunk off school to play with washing powder. Would also crunch on boiled sweets, one after another the thr crunch soothed me. Years later, on Instagram, came across a Lush bubble bar chopping video, one of the hashtags was asmr, followed it down the rabbit hole and discovered a world with people just like me i didnt know existed! Blew my mind🤯ive been watching since the good ol days when it was predominantly comet crumbles and washing powder, long before gym chalk came about. Chalk, Foam and soap are my faves these days👌

This is kind of random😂😂😂, but Im actually a huge Nicki Minaj fan and about a year ago she started this thing called the #Megatronchallenge. I was looking through the videos people were posting and came across Indiatheasmrchef (then Indiaspowderyasmr). I thought maybe she just used the tag for publicity but after reading her hilariously long description I found out that she was a fan too. So i looked at her page and found myself laughing down at not the videos but the descriptions. As i watched more of her videos i started to like what she did and was being recommended other asmrists. I became slightly addicted and eventually asmr took up my ENTIRE insta feed. I didn't really start watching asmr on youtube untill quarantine started but I promise since then I have watched almost every video every asmrist has posted in the past 3 months😬😬😬. I'm not sure what I like about Asmr because i cant say it gives me tingles or anything, I just genuinely find it entertaining. I'm not much of a commenter tho. My family knows I watch asmr, but they don't care. I actually have an autistic little brother that'll watch with me from time to time. The only people who think its weird are people outside of my family (e.x hairdressers or distant family). They always ask silly things like "Are those drugs" "ASMR what does that mean?" Honestly I never really know how to respond 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

When gymchalk hit the scene I was hooked. When gymchalk and colored cornstarch pours started happening i never looked back. LOL. My friends and family support me, kids all love to watch with me when they can and encourage me to start my own ig page and channel. I have a stash of gymchalk I crumble sometimes but it's like something holy I only do on 'special occasions'. lololol. I have been watching for years now... watched the community change, grow, evolve. I would love to see the competition amongst women vibration settle down - you each bring your own frequency and gifts to the crushes. no one is the same, therefore, no competition! I know not all see it that way, but I am sad to see the fights break out and people leave. we have lost so many great asmrtists who couldn't deal with the drama, and some of them with good reason, meaning I understand why they left. I know there will be problems no matter the platform, that is a given - but a unified community committed to empowering each other would be powerful and beautiful. I would love to see the asmrtists compensated somehow for what they bring. Y'all give so much comfort and stress relief - there is nothing wrong with having an energy exchange inside that container. The wishlists are okay but I loathe amazon personally. I love that you have started selling your mixes and others like gholibn and nbc and others are working at it too. Paid memberships would be amazing. even if it's $1.00... some of these vids have views in the hundreds of thousands - that is testament to show there is value there for people who watch. Not that it's all about money, but I feel sooo sad when I hear of an asmrtist being broke financially or who can't continue because they can't afford it. There is an answer there for that I feel. tip jars maybe? donations never work out, I have seen people do that and there is something there that turns people away, I am not sure what it is. I know on "live" premiers of YT videos, there is an option for superchats where people can send cash to the creator during the live video premiere. I have several not asmr accts I subscribe to who have the live premiers and it's always so exciting, especially when the countdown starts at 2 mins. LOL. Well my name is Pearl,but my friends and family call me Pearly.So it was just easy to come up with the name for my channel.Didnt take too much thought. As for the community,I agree that we can treat each other better and stay away from competition. I am the kind of person who hates drama and confrontation and I can smell it from miles away,so that helps . I got into gym chalk cause I loved powder detergent and at the time katecometcrunch was doing powder plays with detergent and comet so when she started doing gym chalks I loved it. That’s also when I found PowderyCrunches along with a whole bunch of other ones. I showed my whole family and I got all my sisters hooked. Even my friends see me watching it 24/7 and tell me that I’ve got a bad obsession😂

I m addicted to chalk since my school days. I was addicted to calcium carbonate chalk crushing and it was weired for everyone. Everyone scold me for this unusual habit. I have done my graduation post graduation and now i m doing phd but my love for chalk never ended. Sometime i thing i have pyscological issue but i feel relaxed after crushing chalk.. I thought i m the only one having such kind of weired habit. I searched on google is there someone having this kind of habit but no result found except chalk eating habit. One day suddenly i saw maddie gymchakk vedio. I feel so relaxed then i realise that i m not single one, there is a community that love crushing chalk. Now i m addicted watching gymchalk vedio. My family said i m mad. They always scold me for this habit. Now i m relaxed i m not only one. I cant tell u how much i lovs yr vedio.. I want to kiss yr hands because they have magic. I've always been into ASMR before i evem knew there was a term for it. From as young as 8 my mum would find me in the bathroom with baby powder. I would play with sponges for hours on end and bunk off school to play with washing powder. Would also crunch on boiled sweets, one after another the thr crunch soothed me. Years later, on Instagram, came across a Lush bubble bar chopping video, one of the hashtags was asmr, followed it down the rabbit hole and discovered a world with people just like me i didnt know existed! Blew my mind🤯ive been watching since the good ol days when it was predominantly comet crumbles and washing powder, long before gym chalk came about. Chalk, Foam and soap are my faves these days👌

From childhood i like board chalk and i love to write and play with it.One day i saw apowderymess video in my recomendation and i loved it..In India gym chalk is expensive so my husband bought me magnesiam carbonate powder to make chalks and play with it..He is so supportive he even told me to start my asmr channel but as am busy with kids and my health was not well i was not able to do that..But i have a small channel in my mother tongue which features some little useful things which i knew..My only friend knows about this and she thinks this is weird but supportive as always..

I got hooked to gym chalk ASMR because from as long as I could remember I've been obsessed with weird powders and earthy stuffs that include powder but I recently discovered gym chalk ASMR in mid June when I wanted to eat chalk and I had the idea to search it on UA-cam and I found gym chalk ASMR my family thinks it's weird and annoying but I really don't care what they think because their opinions don't really matter to me and it's also grown on me for them to be negative but I'll have to bare with the insults for now because I'm only 15

I got addicted watching videos on Instagram of @crunchyASMR84 and Dani1010_ASMR. I got so addicted watching their gc videos so I have searched them on YT. And surprisingly I found many of ASMRist channels. And I was like what??? Is this really happens and why it is so satisfying❤️❤️
And then after 5-6 months I thought to start my own channel. My friends do not know about it. My parents feels it wierd in starting but now they are okay with it but still want me to make less dirt😂😂

This is kind of random😂😂😂, but Im actually a huge Nicki Minaj fan and about a year ago she started this thing called the #Megatronchallenge. I was looking through the videos people were posting and came across Indiatheasmrchef (then Indiaspowderyasmr). I thought maybe she just used the tag for publicity but after reading her hilariously long description I found out that she was a fan too. So i looked at her page and found myself laughing down at not the videos but the descriptions. As i watched more of her videos i started to like what she did and was being recommended other asmrists. I became slightly addicted and eventually asmr took up my ENTIRE insta feed. I didn't really start watching asmr on youtube untill quarantine started but I promise since then I have watched almost every video every asmrist has posted in the past 3 months😬😬😬. I'm not sure what I like about Asmr because i cant say it gives me tingles or anything, I just genuinely find it entertaining. I'm not much of a commenter tho. My family knows I watch asmr, but they don't care. I actually have an autistic little brother that'll watch with me from time to time. The only people who think its weird are people outside of my family (e.x hairdressers or distant family). They always ask silly things like "Are those drugs" "ASMR what does that mean?" Honestly I never really know how to respond 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

I started with issafloralfoam and was obseeeesssssed. then my guilty conscience took over cos I felt bad for watching something that is so harmful to our planet - gravitated towards powders and found asmrmeth and kate. When gymchalk hit the scene I was hooked. When gymchalk and colored cornstarch pours started happening i never looked back. LOL. My friends and family support me, kids all love to watch with me when they can and encourage me to start my own ig page and channel. I have a stash of gymchalk I crumble sometimes but it's like something holy I only do on 'special occasions'. lololol. I have been watching for years now... watched the community change, grow, evolve. I would love to see the competition amongst women vibration settle down - you each bring your own frequency and gifts to the crushes. no one is the same, therefore, no competition! I know not all see it that way, but I am sad to see the fights break out and people leave. we have lost so many great asmrtists who couldn't deal with the drama, and some of them with good reason, meaning I understand why they left. I know there will be problems no matter the platform, that is a given - but a unified community committed to empowering each other would be powerful and beautiful. I would love to see the asmrtists compensated somehow for what they bring. Y'all give so much comfort and stress relief - there is nothing wrong with having an energy exchange inside that container. The wishlists are okay but I loathe amazon personally. I love that you have started selling your mixes and others like gholibn and nbc and others are working at it too. Paid memberships would be amazing. even if it's $1.00... some of these vids have views in the hundreds of thousands - that is testament to show there is value there for people who watch. Not that it's all about money, but I feel sooo sad when I hear of an asmrtist being broke financially or who can't continue because they can't afford it. There is an answer there for that I feel. tip jars maybe? donations never work out, I have seen people do that and there is something there that turns people away, I am not sure what it is. I know on "live" premiers of YT videos, there is an option for superchats where people can send cash to the creator during the live video premiere. I have several not asmr accts I subscribe to who have the live premiers and it's always so exciting, especially when the countdown starts at 2 mins. LOL. As for the community,I agree that we can treat each other better and stay away from competition.
I am the kind of person who hates drama and confrontation and I can smell it from miles away,so that helps .
As for compensation,I think youtube allows paid memberships after 10k subs (im not sure) and i agree that it will be a great way to support asmrtist.

That's when I came across Katecometcrunch (the og) and another og called powdery crunches ...one thing led to another and I loved baking soda then I really liked gc and I started watching more and more.....none of my frnds know my brother knows and he finds it weird that I like it 🤣 rest nobody has any idea why I like this
