Like how you start the video now with a little teaching or showing what you use. Always listen to the wife. They are not addicted to fishing like us, so they make better decisions regarding weather. Thanks for the video.
Wiggle warts are the bomb...it always seemed like the more beat up they were the better they were..lol...and thanx for bringing up that not always the most expensive rods are the best..i grabbed some Berkley cherry rods awhile back and love em..inexpensive...keep up the great vids
Those favorite white birds are a good value , sic guides, but the rings are very securely mounted, my main issue with them is the rings popping out. Nice job on the fishing
If you ever decide to splurge on a stickbait rod, try the Shimano Expride 6’ 10” M or the Falcon Cara 6’8” Jerkbait Special. You won’t believe what you are missing. Thanks for the content!
Hey Dave love you videos and I know you throw a jig alot so I got a question do you ever throw a jig with red in the skirt? I see the red crankbaits but never see jigs with red in the skirt
I think it has to do with their metabolism Dave. In the winter they slow down so much that they don’t move much. About the only time they move is to feed. Then in the summer they are hot and easier to move. Damn sounds like me, I’m old and winter I slow down big time. Come summer on I’m the lake everyday.
I live on Lake Cumberland have tournament fished Dale Hollow, Cumberland, Barron and Laurel since the early 90s. Trust me when I say there have been tons of limits caught on pre rapala warts all through that region. Especially Dale Hollow and Lake Cumberland..
I think the bass, like any other critter, is just trying to conserve the most amount of energy in the cold. Only expending it when it feels threatened when you mess with it in your livewell.
Thank you, Dave! I’m living vicariously through you in these bitter cold times! 😂 Question, I’m on the hunt for a light/stiff casting rod for creatures/jigs. Do you like your Curado? Would you recommend it…or something else?

Favorite white bird in heavy is a great chatter bait rod
Reminds me of coming home from Fork a couple years ago. Dragging a boat in it is nerve wracking.

I know you are a frugal man, but the moneypole lure retriever is a great investment instead of using your net.
Everyone is just sitting around watching fishing instead of fishing lol

Dave, how ya like the daingerous swimmer? I personally like it better than the magdraft. Little bit more versatile with speed and line size
Get some plug knockers save some time 👍

Dave, I noticed no O rings on your warts. Do you not use them and tie directly to the manuf eye?
@@WIDEawake419 Only thing I throw a clip on… Thanks for watching
