I have a son with asd also and it is so hard his dad passed and I have to be the one taking him to therapies 3xs a week for 2 hrs each and I did not have time to go to work and I did not qualify for ssi or ihss so I was so lost I also did not qualify for gvt assistance since he receives his dad social security survivors benefits and get says that is A LOT and we live in CALIFORNIA also it SUCKS😭😭😭

I'm not a fan of Jenni, but taking care of a loved one of special needs can be hard and frustrating. It involves a lot of patience and balance between them and yourself. I understand how she feels on that level

Yes it’s very hard and it’s a forever thing and unless you deal with it, you won’t really understand it. I used to say autism runnier my life, it made me not want another child because I was so afraid. Life is hard, being a mama is hard, disabilities are hard. But all we can do is pray and leave everything in gods hands, and can’t stop living and dwelling, because to be able raise a child, we need to be strong and healthy and happy for them.
I really hope she’s finding the time to be PRESENT with her son though. Raising a kid is not just the financial aspect like giving them shelter, food, and clothes. Parenting is waaay more than that

I feel her. I buried my husband and suddenly became a single mom to a toddler. I was 33 years old (35 now), took care of my dying husband, his dying grandma, and my toddler while I was so sick. Buried my husband, his grandma, and protected my baby from all of it. Dealt with depression, anxiety, ptsd, seizures, etc. But everybody has an opinion, everybody suffered more than you, everybody else cried harder, they’ll take care of my daughter because they care more. Silly ass people. But when I was carrying my sick husband to an ambulance with a baby on my hip nobody cared but had the nerve to take pictures of my man in a hospital bed dying.

Jenny said and always has about not wanting more kids. She said she’s not ready for it mentally!!!!!! In this society we don’t have enough help with mental health especially with postpartum moms. We are lead to believe that we can handle more and more pregnancies even after being diagnosed with postpartum depression therefore sometimes leading to unsubscribing to life therefore leaving kids without a mom. There are moms that realize this. But they’re are still many that don’t seek help and that don’t have support. The medical world will only suggest birth control and send you on your way. Jenny is also very aware of her sons condition and knows he needs her.

My son has autism, and will be 18 this year. It’s been very hard, but also a very rewarding journey. Jenny is such a good mom💙
