What I found out from another couponer is that when having multiple of an item...the cashier has to scan them individually as oppose to scanning 1 and adding 2 to total 3. Hopefully that makes sense.

I was able to use the Vaseline coupon at one Wags but when I tried it again at a different Wags it didn’t work 🤷🏻♀️. I think I’ve been to Wags at least 3xs this week! Ugh now I have to go back and check the razors!!

Yes, girl! Walgreens winning, for sure! I love it, when you coupon at Walgreens. (I guess I'm a bit nostalgic, because that was the first place I saw you coupon at, and it was my introduction to doing a money-making transaction and rolling the Register Reward into a second transaction. I've learned so much from you.) Thank you for the Vaseline deal. That's a great use of the coupon, and I had not thought of that. (I would like to try that Cocoa Radiant variety.) 💞💓💗💖💘💝💟💌

Great haul Star! Is it possible if you can explain when you use a filler item and when not. Or if you can tell me which past video you have it in. I struggle understanding that concept. Thanks
Basically a filler item means additional product.
There are store coupons that is attached to an account of where you need to meet minimum threshold to receive the bonus. Example: in your account, you received a coupon that states spend $15 to receive 3000 points. If you get 5 products that's priced at $2.99, it comes out to $14.95 (2.99X5=14.95) meaning you need 1 filler item to surpass the threshold of $15 for redemption of that coupon.
The only time a filler item is used when your total is less than what your store coupon is asking for.

I have 39,000 points from last week's beauty event's plus it printed me out a $10 register reward. I'm going to use it on some of these deals. Thanks for the Vaseline deal. I didn't have that coupon clipped. Thanks for sharing.

I had issues with the Crest deal as well, manager did not want to fix the issue, made me get 3 toothpaste instead of the mouthwash combo I had. Just curious I was looking online for the vaseline deal, online it would only take off $1.32 for the savings, is it because one item is under the coupon value?

Give it a try and if it doesn’t work, you’re never stuck, you can always return it.
The crest issue has been happening all week.. when u do the crest and colgate in the same transaction.. the colgate kicks out the crest.. the same will happen if u do the crest and the revlon RR.
I did both with no issues tbh

@@couponwithStar OK I thought so. I did the deal yesterday and my RR didn't print. Cashier said but was because I used points. I didn't argue I just said OK. She probably took it for herself. I called CS and the Catalina dept had me email them copy of my receipt

I think it's that RR bc I had the same issue last week. All the coupons came off at first when I forgot to give the $10 RR and when she did the transaction over I had a $5 and .75 dg coupon that didn't come off even after adding filler items so it forced me to spend more than I should have oop bc I didn't wanna keep voiding transactions. Needless to say I ended up going this week to return the items where the coupon didn't come off bc I wanted my cash and they took back any points I earned for the transaction.

If I have a $10 RR from doing the Revlon deal last week can I use it to pay for another revlon deal this week and receive another $10 RR, or is that still considered rolling even though it's a week apart?
You can’t use a Revlon reward and get another one back. You’ll need to roll that Revlon reward to another deal, like the toothpaste to get reward by another manufacturer. Then you buy more Revlon with the toothpaste rewards.

Sadly I did the revlon deal and they didn't give me my points :( I said something about it, but my manager wasn't as friendly lol I did get my razors though! Mine were marked down to $2.49 each

I like to think about it this way, use points to earn register rewards, and use register rewards to earn points.
Remember, you’re never stuck with a purchase - if it doesn’t workout the way you wanted to, you can always return it and go on to the next deal.

bruinrose I try to think of it like this - you use points to get register rewards, and use register rewards to get points!
Walgreens is the most difficult store to learn couponing, but with everything, it takes practice! Remember, you are never stuck with your purchase. If you’re not happy, you can always return it and go to the next deal - you’ll get it👍😊
@@supersimplesaver well said! Also if it is a "spend" a certain amont deal to get points you have to pay with cash (no points) but you can also use RR to lower your oop! Hope this helps 🤓
