i just wanted to use hdmi on my old prime 2 but looks that faster and cheaper way is to buy an adapter because buying a video card seems to be a lot more expensive and dificult
I have a cab running both bootlegged Prime and StepPXX, but it is unable to handle StepPXX BGAs properly due to it's higher requirements. With BGAs off, it runs fine. It currently has a 8600GT. Do you think upgrading to 710GT is would solve this problem?
Man why are these hardware so ancient, I also don't get why the Audio chipset has to be so specific Did andamiro happen to buy a warehouse full of these in 2008? They don't even make these anymore lol
"Did Andamiro happen to buy a warehouse full of these in 2008" - Yes! Exactly that! haha! Roxor did the same. The game is programmed against that specific sound chipset. So if everything is matched up, but no the audio chipset, then there is no sound It stupid, but here we are! lol Anyway, somebody modified all of the official games so they run on ANY hardware now. It's really cool.
For what it’s worth, the motherboard requirement is pretty lenient & the audio chip is fairly common (and doesn’t even have to be exact) For example, I have a Gigabyte G31 CPU which doesn’t use Realtek ALC662 (I forgot the exact series) and I could run Fiesta - Phoenix on that motherboard. Same goes for a Foxconn G41 (which I’m currently using) and it works flawlessly with Phoenix.
I happen to have compatible hardware (bought for a MAME cab, but ended UP being the same hw as MK9v1). Do you know if the Arduino-based PIUIO replaces The jamma board as well or would I still need it?
I haven't taken a look at the project, but I was under the impression you would still need the JAMMA board for official pump. As a side point, there is little reason to use official MK9 anymore. There are images for 1st-Prime with a lot of hardware requirements stripped away. Then for Prime2-Phoenix, you can use MK10. Then there's always Pump Sanity otherwise, so PIUIO required at all
@@s34nvideos I'm pretty new to all of this, I've used StepF1 before but the lack of coin functionality made me give up on it. I just wanted to play some NX2 with a homemade pad I'm planning, but coin function is a must-have (I'm building this machine for personal use, since I have a coin door and over 300 arcade coins). Any tips?
It doesn't have the same sound chip as the S3, so unless you already have the board, I would be hesitant to purchase it. That doesn't mean to say it wouldn't work though, as explained in the video already. Which psu/case? Why would that matter?
this is awesome. thank you for all the information.

*** Runs in HD mode ONLY.
not exactly true, for backwards compatibility with fx and cx old pdp screens, xx can run in 1024x768 resolution but scaled
Is there any mobo that is compatible with 8GB of ram?
Funcionaria con un nvidia gt620 para versiones oficiales
This are normal motherboards or are special ?

What type of VGA are you using? Please reply
I answered on your other comment. I said: Winners read video descriptions lol
Does this game use a USB dongle and uses the game's built-in hard disk?

Can I use a g41m-vs3 instead of g41m-s3? And which PSU/case? I don't have an mk9 to upgrade 😅
