    Just wanted to let you know that you can change the order to REC>PLAY>OVERDUB, rather than the factory REC>OVERDUB>PLAY. Hold down the tap tempo button while powering up, then select rP with the arrow buttons. Press tap tempo again to return to normal operation. The rd option is the stock setting, the REC>OVERDUB>PLAY. Hope this helps!

      Thank you so much for watching and commenting. You are quite right and this function is very useful for home use. I have covered it in an other video. In a live setting however, the possibility of accidentally double tapping the RC is what makes the FS worth the investment. It also makes changing patch for a chorus or key change much faster and more accurate. Thanks again. 🎶🎶

    Nice demonstration of using this looper and the foot pedal. I loop extensively and try to keep it as simple as I can.

    Thanks Mark - great video tutorial! I've just bought an FS-6 pedal today and your video helped me get it working nicely with my RC-3 pedal. I'm predominantly a bass player, but your use of it with your guitar has inspired me to get my guitar out tomorrow. Cheers!

      Thanks for watching Darryl. Yes, it’s a great pedal for doing live stuff, particularly when used with the switch pedal. 🎶🎶

    Will the FS-6 enable you to Start/Stop the Drums on the new RC-5 Loop Station? Great tutorial. I agree with everything you said, about it being Difficult without the FS-6.

      Hi Michael, thanks for watching. Sorry, I don’t have the RC5, so I’m not sure if it will work. If you ask on the Boss Facebook page, they may be able to help. facebook.com/BOSSInfoGlobal/?brand_redir=183181848587 good luck. 🎶🎶

    Hey Mark… It’s Mark here LOL great name by the way… Question what do you do for your AC power supply do you just use nine volts only? And what are your tips on saving that battery life when using this daily? Please and thank you!

    • @honeyman-guitar
      @honeyman-guitar  3 роки тому

      Hi Mark, very true, it’s a great name! Thanks for stopping by, and for your question, it’s a really important one.
      So important in fact, that I decided to upload a video on the solution I use. It has worked really well for me for nearly 3 years and over 100 gigs, so It’s well tested. The video is part of my “The complete wedding guitarist “ course, on Udemy, but it makes sense to have it on UA-cam, now that you’ve asked the question. Here’s the link:
      ua-cam.com/video/CocKUtmaMJY/v-deo.html
      PS. The FS6 does not have a mains power input, so this won’t work for that pedal, but I usually get 100 hours or more from a 9 volt battery in it, so it’s not really an issue.
      I hope it answers you. If you have any more questions let me know. 🎶🎶🎶🎶 regards, Mark.

    can i save phrase with pressing something on footswitch?

    • @honeyman-guitar
      @honeyman-guitar  Рік тому

      Yes, you can permanently save a phrase by pressing the setup and memory at the same time.

      @@honeyman-guitar but only with pressing buttons an the pedal i can not save a phrase? i have to press the setup and memory button with my fingers?

    • @valleyviewretreat
      @valleyviewretreat Рік тому

      @@Bigjuergo hi , “saving a phrase” has two options. You can save a phrase and then replay it, by tapping the pedal with your foot. But as soon as you turn the power off it will be deleted. If you want to keep the phrase to use in other sessions, you need to save it to one of the 99 memory slots by holding down the memory and setup buttons at the same time and selecting save. It will then be permanently stored in the selected slot. I hope this helps. Mark

    Just to clarify after watching this, you only use the B channel so you can just get an FS 5 like I have. (much cheaper)

    • @honeyman-guitar
      @honeyman-guitar  3 роки тому

      Hi Kirby, thanks for watching and commenting. What you say is true , in this video I am only using one side of the switch and an FS5 would do the same job. In other videos I do explore using both sides and I myself use it for switching patches live.

    Thank you so much for this video.. it’s such a hassle to stop a riff on its own with just the rc3. Do you highly recommend to get a fs6 switch pedal as I intend to get it? Your thoughts..TQIA

      Hi, thanks for watching and commenting. The One of the foot switches on the A3 fell apart last year and it needed a repair. But I am still using it for all my gigs. 🎶🎶
