Stephen A is totally correct, I can't believe the excuses the other guys are making when it is literally Shanahan's job to put players in a position to succeed, which includes protecting them from further injuring themselves when there is an obvious and significant risk. Players always want to play, its the coaches' job to make that determination with a greater level of rationality.
It's funny watching this now, and I usually don't agree with Steven A but he's 100% on this one... not that I necessarily blame Shanahan fully.... but he is the head coach and he gets final say. However, knowing what we do now, I don't think it was quite apparent at the time, that RGIII and Danny Boy sort of had their own ideas. It's hard for the coach to really control things if the owner is undermining your authority with the players.
One of those arguments where Stephen A smith is absolutely correct. There is a grey area here, and the blmaei is on the entire system. The player willing to risk it, the coach who wanted it,willing to risk it all, the ownership, the Doctor.etc... It 's clearly a thing that happened. And as humans we have a flaw of trying to prevent everything that has ever happened from happening again.. there are just too many vairbales to ever be 100% correct.
The doctor is the only one who SHOULDN'T be blamed, bro... he did his job. He examined him, and clearly stated he should NOT play. Don't lump the doctor in with the rest of these jokers...
Mike deserves the blame, it was said that RG3 wasn’t cleared and from that point it shouldn’t of even been a discussion
Seeing that video of him caving that knee is painful.
I guess you can say the same thing when he coached John Elway through all of his injuries.
why does the show look more professional in 2013 lol
This is when the show had a BACKBONE. It’s ALL FAKE now
Shanahan was absolutely to blame. SAS was right.

He wasn’t cleared but he put him in anyway
🙏🏻RIP RG3 knee

Stephen A. Smith always gets his point across
yeah even when is complete bullshit
It’s was Mike and The center. Mike put him in and even if he was still put in the center would’ve made a good snap and he would’ve been injured
Lol no QB today limping out on the field like RG3 did is being played! The coach was completely at fault
god this show was so much better with skip. undisputed >>
History repeats itself

The coach had 2 good back ups. With that in mind. Makes no sense to put in an injured QB to play. With that in mind. The coach makes the call.
Partnership...nahhhh. RG3 didn't have no damn partnership.
And tray now knows it
It all depends on who decision it was for him to play.....I think RG3 made that choice...
Stephen A....what does "recid" mean?
un fucking real
I watched the game when the coach was helping rg 3 off the field rg sad its not your fault
when skip is not there the show was more fun
No wonder SAS left
This was San snyder's fault
