    This video was playing whilst standing .. 30 min round .. and I put your advice into practice as I was doing so .. I began to feel very relaxed, my whole body became heavier and energy became increasingly dense contributing further to relaxation.
    I'll come back to your video tomorrow whilst standing.
    Thank you, this has opened up a depth of practice which I had heard about but not experienced till today.. thank you again.

    I have always expanded the energy cloud while in breathing and trying to increase its density on out breath. I accumulate energy but it doesn't seem to get denser. Is this a perceptional issue, or something else? I will try the opposite pattern and note any changes. While I know what the facia is, could you describe how to tune into it, and work with it for chi work.

    • @ChiSkills
      @ChiSkills  Рік тому +2

      Hi Len, with pore breathing imagine the pores as little mouths. Breath the energy into the stretch on the in breath, and expand out on the out breath. Tuning into the fascia, or activating it starts with opening the space in the joints. In this way we start to feel a slight stretch of the tendons etc. Opening the joints works in two directions: yin = pulling open, yang = pushing open. This way the body comes into an optimal construction, and this helps the Chi flow. Moving energy can start with pore breathing energy in and out of this stretch. You can also move this fluid feeling through the stretch with Dan Tain rotation. Think about the micro cosmic orbit for instance. Your mind moves the feeling through the stretch. Hope this helps!

      Hi Arman,it took only a little work to start things moving with your added explanation. Thanks for taking time to help me.😌

    hey im enjoying your Video's , im confused by how you mean "pull open" the joints tho, i get push open and can find the pull on my elbows but am stuck with the others, ty :)

    • @ChiSkills
      @ChiSkills  11 місяців тому +2

      Thank you! Pulling the joints: stretch your arm out away from you, spreading and stretching your fingers, trying to touch the wall in front of you, really stretching your arm. Feel how you, while stretching are creating space in the joints? Shoulder, elbow, wrist and fingers? This is pushing the joints open. Now, in this position imagine your fingers are connected to the wall in front of you by elastic wires. Now start pulling on these imaginary wires, with the same intensity you were using with the pushing, and feel the resistance, the opposite force, Feel how the direction of the stretch has changed, it’s going towards you. See how your elbow starts to bend a bit. And feel how the joints are still open, but here also, the direction has changed towards you. This is pulling the joints open. Good luck and happy training.

    Can you use this principle in Chen style tai chi

    • @ChiSkills
      @ChiSkills  3 роки тому +3

      Hi Thomas, thanks for your question. Yes you can. You might want to slow down the form a bit. Everywhere in your form where you drop the hip and stretch the spine, where you land in the punch or where you throw. In those places you can pore breath and make sure that you breath towards the feet as well. Practicing this slowly first will make sure that you release as much tension as you can in the stretch. This way you will punch and throw with unrestrained construction. Better said, you will be able to punch like a freight train. And you will become a very relaxed and happy person, which is more important... Hope this helps!

    Is condensed breathing part of this?

    • @ChiSkills

      Hi Tony, well it can be if you choose to do so. Then you can condense the breath in the bone arrow. Hope this helps!

    Hi I think I may have the sensitivity of a brick 🧱 is there any way to improve this lack of sensitivity? Or is that just practicing this exercise over and over until you get the feeling the only way? Hope this makes sense and thanks for any help 👍

      Hi, this process starts with awakening the energy body. This proces needs guidance, or else it becomes a sort of hit or miss. UA-cam comments is not the medium for that I’m afraid. If your serious about it I can teach you. Info@chiskills.com. Thanks.
