The thing is, Käärija is extremely charismatic and his social media push really steered people to want him to win. And he is very fun, but the competition is not about personality, the jury vote on the song. And he did quite good with them given that it’s not standard Jury bate. In the end, it was always the two, and the fact that she was second in televote shows that even though people love Käärija, you just can’t deny the allure of Loreen and tattoo. So the hate people are sending her needs to end. This video is exactly how people should have reacted, both artists deserve huge congrats and were both equally deserving. And his career will only grow if that is what he wants, no doubt.

Excellent and well deserved result for Australia! as with everyone i have so many thoughts. the voting reminded me a bit of 2018, like from 7th to 17th there isn't even a 100 point difference XD. and i was ConVinced that there were just not enough points for loreen to take it, but she did better than expected waahhh. the whole thing was very exciting to me and i enjoyed this year a lot 😊
I don't personally think there was anything wrong with the audience chanting "Cha Cha Cha" They made their opinion clear by giving support to their own favourite, that is not being disrespectful. They didn't for example boo after Loreen won. They didn't bring any other artist down with giving Finland their chants, they just gave support to their favourite. And that is totally fine. And also, I think that when you get 130+ points less than the actual televote winner, you should not win the whole contest. Sweden did not get a single 12 points from the televoters, while Finland got 18x 12 points. That is a massive difference and EBU has a very hard times ahead, they can not keep this going on where a massive televote winner ends up losing the contest. It's not fair to the televoters (why should they keep voting in the future if the juries have already decided the winner).
And by the way next year in Sweden is to celebrate the 50 years of ABBA... With “Waterloo” in 1974. It was the 19th edition of the contest, hosted at the Brighton Dome in the UK....

I do it by heart and usually vote for the five songs that I enjoyed the most.
Not just that, but also Norway who got over 200, and a bunch of countries like Israel, Italy, Ukraine and Croatia all getting over a hundred, kept others from getting points. It happens every year. Still, was shocked with Spain, Portugal and Serbia, but I’m pleased that there were no 0 points.

I too voted in hope for the better place for Voyager in the competition because they were the best in my opinion. And I am sure without the ridiculous Finland- Sweden battle Voyager would have been in the top three at the very least. It's a shame but it always happens when some artist on game is made a ready winner before hand , people are like sheeps. However as the Finnish band Blind Channel 2021 put it: " It is better to finish well in Eurovision Song Contest than win the competition. The title Eurovision Song Contest winner may do more harm than good for your career. " And Voyager also ranked well and they got loads of new fans around the world.
Odds have destroyed the contest. Personal taste doesn't count in it anymore. The contest isn't exiting anymore. I am sad because my highlight of the year has changed so much that it has lost me. To win me back it needs to become a concert I guess instead of a contest. It is still interesting to get to know artists that are new to me from many other countries. That is the only good part of it now.

It's a bit of a problem that Eurovision fucked up the levels on the songs. The playback was wayyy too quiet. Whenever there's an instrument solo you could really hear it, but even throughout the songs, the drums were sooo low, the claps were also low.
Im mad that Loreen won. Is she good yes but she has won before she had her moment. She is not even that like unusual or new. And she knows the judges. So theres deff a bias. Also she is only second person to win twice cause most winners dont compete again.
Maybe ESC can set a rule not to allow previous winners to compete again as they can have unfair advantage. Imagine if Jamala or Mans will compete again. 😳
