The save theme is incredible. A dlc for £8 took me 4.5 hours. I did re3r in 6 first play through, well done capcom.
phenomenal DLC - Super well structured and paced, almost more so than the main game at points. Some of the most fun I've ever had with an RE game even though it's only a 5 hour game
There were only a few points in time where this FELT like a 10 dollar dlc. almost all of it felt like pure quality.
I feel like the part where Ada and Ashley was VERY flat. That's where it felt "10$ DLC" for me.

Just finished it and it is a 10/10. Every boss fight and section was better than the original and it is nice to see Capcom make something so incredible. Although I think RE5 is next, I really want to see Code Veronica Remake more.
RE5 or bust! Idk why so many are interested in seeing a middling entry like CV get a remake. RE5 was a decent game and especially the first half was pretty solid. The premise there is so much more interesting than CV

Resident Evil 3 remake is roughly six hours on an average playthrough. This DLC is around three to four hours on average, which is really good for a DLC, but it’s not longer than RE3 remake.

This DLC is so freaking rad, already did multiple runs and got all her badass accessories including her cat set. Her voice actress really grows on you since you have more time to bond with Ada in this. Im a huge fan of the VA now, her personality really shines through Ada here. 10/10 DLC and worth every dollar.
I think it's more just that we're used to the voice now than it actually being really good. I always thought it was just fine.. nothing more. It fits with the less cheesy tone they're going for nowadays.
I kind of lost respect for her after pulling the race card after having her performance be criticized. Still she sounds better here.

Just finished it today and man was it good. Definitely an improvement from the original.
I just finally finished playing it a couple days ago, excited to finally be watching yours. This DLC was a masterpiece! It has way more replayability than the OG Separate Ways. It expanded on the world, it gave her more reason to be there, it was actually a developed bonus story. Moving some main game stuff to the DLC was a smart choice imo, I liked that her story was longer and not entirely focused on Leon. And the functional grappling hook!!!!! Amazing.
So Ada pawned off Leons jacket is now canon. Thats pretty funny
It's legitimately amazing how they created an actual second, fully fleshed-out character scenario for Resident Evil 4 with this DLC. Imagine if over the next year they kept working on RE4 and came out with full campaign B scenarios for Leon & Ada just like Resident Evil 2. If only RE3 Remake got this kind of love and attention from Capcom. What a waste that game was.
They did RE3 Remake dirty. We want the full version of the game. Let the developers of RE2 & 4 Remake do RE3 Remake correctly

I love that Bawk plays how I play on the first playthrough. Ignore the main objective, hug the wall, spam the interact button on everything.
I'm sure it'll be said on the stream, but Ada's VA actually did a really good job on the DLC. I know her previous performance wasn't great in the base game, and internet took it too far, as always, but she really did better this time around. Kudos to her for sure.
TBH she just had more lines now. She literally had maybe 1 mins of total lines in Re 4's main story.

Finished it just now. Liked how they implemented the cut content from base into this one instead. For practically ten dollars (US), I’d say if anyone was wondering, I’d recommend it. If you’re itching for more than mercenaries, this is definitely worth playing.
Wesker's voice actor is killing it.. He sounds perfect.. Calculated , Calm , and Dangerous.. He intimidates Ada... I'm so happy D.C. Douglas got fired.. With respect..

I just finished my first playthrough of this DLC and I can only say that I am blasted away by how good it is. I can't believe they sold it for just 10 dollars, RE4 remake has been a 100% masterpiece which even improved the original game on all aspects (and I started with fears of getting disappointed since I had been a huge fan of the OG). Thanks Capcom and Dev1, you absolutely rock!

amazing dlc, its cool knowing this and the main game happen at the exact same time but the dlc moves things along alot faster
sewer is not a new area, it's area from og re4, where leon goes after ashley coughing and trapped. there were prison and a bit seweres, and you drain water and treasure in the same room where you drain water.
My boy getting more screen time is much needed

As a huge RE fan but very average player, I wasn’t hopeful I’d be able to unlock everything. I’ve just seen the infinite launcher on NG+ so I can do what I did with the main campaign and unlock the sweeper with that, and then the infinite ammo with the sweeper 🎉🎉🎉
Yep... Just noticed.. I was like fuck.. No infinite launcher for speedrun but then i saw it lol
It's funny cause I didn't even know that they would shoot the catapults at you in the beginning section cause I did the whole section stealth.
Honestly that's a very nice part of the separate ways dlc is that you can pretty much do several of her sections mostly quiet, which is very Ada.

So theory if ada was meant to be in RE8 but was cut instead;there is a line when you take control of chris that goes" doing nothing but recon has gotten me out of shape" its a female voice that female voice sounds almost like Adas voice actor from RE4RE. Could the recon person be a hired ada wong?

Did my first playthrough on Hardcore. Don't even wanna think about U3 and Saddler when I fight them on Professional.
I had 11 or 13 crossbow bolts going into U3 on Hardcore. I'll probably use that same strat for professional lol

Hey I just had a crazy thought while having Ada with the green wig to see how she'd look with it. What if Capcop made a wig for Ada or Leon for that matter but instead of a health icon or the screen getting red in the corners, the wig itself changed colors. So full health bright green and when he gets hurt slowly becomes yellow and then orange and then red when in danger? May be dumb but it sounded like something different to see in a RE game.
Damn seeing this makes feel bad for re3 remake lol fans should get together and let capcom know.

DLC cost me 15$ (Canadian). RE3 Remake cost me 80$. This DLC was 4 Hours In Game Time for me and RE3 Remake was 5 Hours In Game Time. Both I explored as much as possible. Pretty sure I also died a lot more in RE3 Remake.

Played it on assisted to get a feel, dontjudgemeisuck....i expected a mild experience....what i got was Johnny Bravo threatening me with a good time.
Loved the GET OVER HERE!!! melee actions, the story additions or rather clarifications compared to the original.
A little sad there is not much to unlock, have not played with the dress yet though.
Ada's voice is fine, direction....could use some work, but overall good.
Compared to the original, i like it more, 8/10, could see around more.
On its own, for 10$, its a fine DLC, completes the story, shows a few new areas. 9/10
Take everything above with a truck of salt, it is a randoms opinion after all.
Also the PC performance was also better.

For real. As iconic as his RE5 voice actor is, this one is absolutely killing it too.
I don’t know how to feel. I like this new voice actor. He’s sinister and cold and calculated. He has the perfect villain voice. It just…doesn’t feel like Wesker to me though. It’s not bad by any means, it’s just different.
