YYyyyyyyyes like ya'll heard, the J-Town 'bolt is alive and doing well these days. Figured it was bout time I spun back around to this site and recorded it as it stands today. I got closer this time (since school was canceled for a snow day), and was so happy to hear her when she roared to life!
I didn't have time to grab the tripod, but I managed alright. I am glad to see this 'bolt still standing since we have had 3 fallen 'bolts this year alone. I did hear back from my contact at the EMA who assured me the 'bolts are NOT all being replaced. We're still too poor for all that nonesense! :-)
Anyway, thank ya for watchin! Long live the Thunderbolt!

This Thunderbolt sure seems pretty Safe and Sound now! So people at the school actually knew something wasn't right with it, so a sophomore transferred schools and an administrator tried unplugging it....
