My score: 1. City 7(6+1) points (I'm sick of repetitive trees and their history by now), 2. Star Wars 5 points, 3. Harry Potter 4 points, 4. Marvel 3 points, 5. Disney 2 points and 6. Friends 1 point. Total: 1. City 85 points, 2. Star Wars 72 points, 3. Harry Potter 67 points, 4. Friends 58 points, 5. Marvel 57 points and Disney 57 points.
I swear we get that exact same Lego city gift each year, down to the gold antlers. Also that’s definitely the reason Harry Potter got the bonus point today 😂
Actually some really nice builds here. I'm not sure how much Jeremy expects will fit inside one advent calendar door, but I can accept they can't always be full to bursting! 6 points - Star Wars. Generic ship, but some nice details and isn't just grey. 5 points - City. Whilst not perfect, I love how recognisable it is and how much detail is in such a small build. I really do wish Jeremy would recognise this sometimes, small isn't always bad! 4 points - Disney. I think this could have been done better, not a lot of detail considering the source material. Some nice colourful elements, though. 3 points - Harry Potter. Count your lucky stars Potter that there's two tables elsewhere today! I so wanted to put this bottom, two Christmas Trees is unforgivable. At least this ones's better! 2 points - Friends. The better of the two tables on the count of it at least being related to Christmas. 1 point - Marvel. I think the designers have just given up and gone home for a pizza by this point! Festive Bonus Point - City. Harry Potter might have taken it is this was their only tree, but you can't fill a calendar with trees and claim every bonus point! Scores - City 80, Disney 69 dudes, Star Wars 67, Harry Potter 66, Friends 58, Marvel 56. A bit of a shame that City's running away with it so much by this point. Star Wars and Harry Potter were catching up fast, but they've seemingly run out of new ideas and have fallen way back. EDIT - Did have a laugh at 10:51, always good when you can take criticism with good humour! Although righting your wrong by denying City ANOTHER bonus point?!! Not sure about that one, I've got to be honest! Justice for City!!
I love LEGO! My Facorite LEGO videogame is LEGO Dimensions. Here's something I found out. If the Toys to Life genre ever comes back, there will be major changes to it, with increased integration with digital ecosystems, have more focus on character customization, pitential augmented reality, and move towards more interactive and connected toys to better compete to modern gaming landscape and appeal to a wider audience. Plus, instead of relying on physical figures in order to play as that character, the Toys to Life comeback prioritize digital character creation and progression while physical toys act as optional additional unlockables and skins and abilities and customization options. And it said that if the Toys to Life genre returns with major changes, it'll highly likely have old toys to life game get rebooted like LEGO Dimensions, Disney Infinity and Skylanders, except with major changes and the physical figures will only be optional and not required in order to play as that character. I hope LEGO Dimensions gets rebooted and have a year 3 in the newly changed toys to life genre.
It's interesting that Harry Potter gave us two Christmas trees this year, although I find giving it a santa hat instead of a star a little bit creative.
I gotta say, you are getting more for your money with the Lego Star Wars advent calendar. There are just more pieces shoved into each day compared to the others.
I think for a serious Star Wars enthusiast who appreciates all of the different spin-offs, it's a great calendar. They are being a little mean with the minifigures this year. There are some great ones, even from the different spin-offs they could have included.
You're right. I observed that too but was too busy with the day by day City injustice so I forgot to say it. Maybe he's a princess in disguise who knows?
I think Lego city should have got the festive point. Yes it would have knocked Harry Potter from the lead which I want, but this isn’t just Star Wars bias. Despite the small number of parts it’s a really cute build and very festive, whereas not only is this the second tree for Harry Potter, it’s also the second year in a row where they’ve had 2 trees, so really not unique. (Also Star Wars bias obviously plays a part 😂)
Disney won gift of the day for me. I love their mini builds. City gets 2nd place for me. I quite like the minimalist reindeer & sleigh. Don't care about Star Wars, but their ship is better than what Potter, Friends & Spidey gave us, so SW gets 3rd place.
If the first tree went on top of today's from Potter it would have been cool to have a really large tree. I'm underwhelmed. If yesterday's gift from the savage sisters was flour, they could have been making puddings. Mirabella Madrigal's Casita is an adorable mini build. I would imagine if you are a Disney princess fan this calendar would be wowing you. I'm thinking that the bulk of City's gifts are toys for under the tree. This is an ingenious solution with a minimum of parts I have to say I'm impressed. I wonder how many of the Star Wars fans can blurt the name of the ship's instantly when you pop the doors of the calendar open? I sure can't even though I am slightly more Star Wars than Star Trek okay everybody go easy on me! That pizza must be mighty cold by now. It seems like Spider-Man has been trying to give us some red and green but it's not screaming Christmas to me! Stick with your tree precedent Jeremy, the worst thing you can do is chop it down!
Good Morning. I hope you having a great day. I agree with today’s points although that tiny reindeer is pretty cute. I am not sure about the Mrs. Clause controversy from yesterday. I do like Christmas trees best. I am glad that HP is holding up with the points. I am not sure about the future of this advent calendar doing well so well.
Was very disappointed with Star Wars today- not that it was a bad build, just wasn't festive, LOVED city's offering today. These are the 2 advent calendars I had, yesterday because I wanted Luke at door 24, I swapped Luke and the door 24 build so I built that which was very fun but if it gets last place this year, I wont blame you.
I feel like City is getting A rough time these last 2 days, I really think they are getting robbed of festive bonus points! Also very surprised Harry Potter got as high as it did with the tree. Part of a multy day build, a second tree, and lets be honest calendar filler. Isn't that every sin all at once?
Multy day builds are not all the same, if they're Harry Potter they're good, if they're any other calendar then they're bad. Same with the tables, trees etc And all gifts from City this year are VERY bad including the so called festive ones. If you want festive we've got a forest of trees from Harry Potter.

Also Heartlake City has turned into GTA and you should learn to be unbiased about these advent calendars so Harry Potter doesn't get the unfair advantage when the kids from Cyberchase go to Hogwarts to solve maths problems.
I think that the Harry Potter gift got the festive bonus to keep it tied with star wars 😂 also interesting how badly the tables with food scored compared to the tables with food from Harry Potter when they’re basically the same thing
@@Dwh-h the tree has two reasons I think. One for consistency and then also another because there were two festive elements to it - a Christmas tree and, instead of a generic star, a santa hat instead

To be fair, Mrs Claus probably dresses like that all year round so she's not technically festive. I quite like the reindeer and sleigh today but minimalism isn't very festive either.
Yeah and it's the same for Santa too... butt the tree, the tree I tell you, it has a freaking star on top and that's it... the tree I tell you, the treeeeeeeeeeeeee... 😂
Have a question for the SW fan base: Do you count Disney-SW as good and as iconic as Lucas’ SW? For me it seems like Disney doing this 20 new ships per movie just to create merch.

Nah Jeremy it's NOT usual for advent calendars to have TWO ?!? Christmas trees in one year like you wrongfully say in this video. It's usual ONLY for Harry Potter calendar to do this because of its incredible "creativity". That and the always the same minifigures Harry, Ron, Hermion etc and the 4 houses with their flags and the all beloved tables and kitchen utensils, nothing as boring and repetitive like, let's give a really bad thing for example, I know! ... a City Santa Claus.
Chill man, it’s just children’s toys. And to be frank when you open all doors and have a magical scene of the festive great hall it’s way nicer than a bunch of disjointed bricks from SW, Marvel or city.
