I’m not her, but I diffuse my whole head upside down and it works wonderfully to get perfect curls from the root!
im not Jayme but what I do is I make sure not to brush my hair down but to brush it up or to the side so the the root curls don't go flat and u could have volume as well
What product did you use before using the dyson?
I feel like deep down my hair hates me. I give it everything it needs. I blow dry it correctly, and everything. Then it goes and stabbs me in the back. I would say I'm annoyed, but I like thinking that my hair has attitide so I'll roll with it.

Back when I was younger around 18, I had the same problem. And sometimes I got so annoyed, i just took a scissor and punished my hair by cutting 1 lock shorter. 🤣😭
my advice your doing something wrong you need know what type hair you have and get products for it it will hug you after if you hug it

It actually doesn't get as hot as other hairdryers. It just feels like that 😊 so you can use the second and third setting for heat and you don't have to worry (it's 60°C, 80°C and 100°C)

I begged my boyfriend for years for this hair dryer. He gifted it to me for my birthday this year and I screamed with joy! I’m obsessed with my Dyson and my hair dries so fast and little to no frizz. I also noticed how well it locks in my style cause my curls still look good and hold their definition for the next 3 days. It’s costly but save your pennies and get it. So worth it!
Wait 3 days?? That’s sounds so nice, my curls get pretty flat on the second day and frizzy on the third

I was really excited for this review because I don’t love the supersonic 🙈 I feel it dries the outside of the hair quickly but then as the day goes on moisture comes out and the hair gets frizzy and limp etc
The only saving grace for me that saves this hairdryer is the comb attachment ($$$!!) that i use just at the roots- it dries that hair first then i can diffuse the rest and the results are good
I was wondering if you have found any downsides to the dyson the more you used it?

Hi JaymeJo from Texas I just wanted to let you know your beautiful and I’ve learned so much from your channel I’ve never been that interested in taking care of my curly hair until now I reached menopause and have less hair than I use to although I still have a lot and it is 3b I love your hair cut and the volume you have and I would like a similar haircut Thankyou so much for your great tips your so much fun to listen to and I really dig accent Love mom of 5 and all my kids including my sons have big hair
Great review Jayme!! Also, according to Dyson, the hair dryer comes with "intelligent heat control" which "measures air temperature over 40 times a second and regulates the heat" to prevent the hair from getting heat damage. Can't wait to get mine 😊😊

I really think you could use high speed high heat and it won’t damage your hair.
One more thing, I would say if you’re usually experiencing frizz it could be bc you’re cupping your hair too soon or touching it too much, but other than that, I love that dryer! 🥳
You should not use high heat and speed with any dryer with the diffuser attached
I tried this blow dryer in Ulta. Holy crap it gets hot! I actually didn’t think it was worth the price because I would use the medium to lower settings. I also asked my hair dresser if I should get it, and she said no. Wouldn’t recommend it unless you are a professional using it all day every day because it does decrease drying time. I own other Dyson products, and I have to say I’m not impressed with their longevity. Have had to get parts for two products that I’ve owned less than 3 years.

Your hair is gorgeous are the curls natural? I just got my Dyson hair dryer but I am very hesitant to use the diffuser adaptor. It dries so slowly and I have to hold it onto my head for so long. I wonder what's the EMF, must be very high. Do you have any idea?

I wish i could find out what products you use in your hair from start to finish. Shampoo conditioner detangler etc.
Great video, and a lovely gift to recieve!! I heard nothing but great things about the Dyson, minus the size of the diffuser. Does the buttons being on the back drive you nuts ? Working in salon I know I always liked my buttons being on the handle for fast temp and speed changes.

my hair is whack af it sometimes looks bomb but otherwise weird,, i have no shrinkage and idk my day 2 hair is the absolute worst..

Wow I've been wanting for this video because I was debating buying this dryer or the one to you normally use. Interesting that it took you longer because they advertise it's supposed to decrease dry time by a certain percent.
Edit: I just checked the website and they removed that claim. It now just says, 'fastest drying,' with an asterisk by it 🤔 Hm.
Also curious if the claims are just as a standalone drier without the diffuser.
I think its because of the size of the diffuser to be honest

I don’t even have curly hair, but I’m following just because you are so incredibly fine
The interesting thing is that my hair is very simaler to hers. However I can never get the volume I want, or the shine. It doesnt last long without getting super frizzy and losing volume. My hair is short lived. My curl pattern is close to hers though. Have any tips for my problems?

Jayme, I have a question on how much your denman brush was. I wanna get one on Amazon but, it's 12.99 for 2 the 9 row and the 5 row. And, I don't know if it's worth it and if it's even the real deal denman brush
The denman brand on amazon should say that it’s made from the manufacturer that’s how you know it’s authentic.
Me cries having frizzy hair after 5sec of getting out of the shower I never dry my hair lol it's curly and dry like 24 seven except in the shower

your hair at like 7:40 is basically what mine looks like fully dry, except wayy more frizzy, and dry and weird.. i want to make it more UP yk? idk how to explain it no matter what i do its terrible

Sounds like your hair could be protein sensitive! I would cut out any products with protein and look for good protein free and moisturizing products !

Tbh I'm sad now .I look at Jaymes curls and they are the most ungodly gorgeous curls I've ever seen in my life then I look at my hair (which is the same hair type btw) and it looks like if you dry brushed it then straightened it with a straightener that isn't on ,then shook it out .I'm just annoyed because I feel exhausted at the amount of effort I put in for my hair and it still looks terrible compared to every single other girl with curls and at this point I'm thinking of just giving up on my journey because I'm just so exhausted
I have the same curls, and please do me a favor, don't give up! It will take time, hair doesnt get healthier over night. And to be honest, it can really be fun over time, just take this journey tooooo seriosly, it can be fun! Greetings from Germany❤🇩🇪

Get the snozzlepro and the xtava black orchid diffuser and use them with your dyson it’s life changing
Will those attach to the Dyson magnetically?
@@heidikamrath1951 you use the wider of the two vertical attachments. The wider one is pushed into the snozzlepro which the wider end of the snozzlepro is attached to the black orchid. The dyson attachment hooks by magnet as normal. I hate the dyson diffuser but love the dyson. This is a well known hack. It’s on UA-cam and the snozzlepro and black orchid on amazon.

@@CocoFirenze OMG yay!!!! Just know if you use it on higher than the low heat it will pop apart as the rubber gets hot and swells. If you’re using it on the low heat and it’s still popping off. Here’s my trick I told the owner. Wash it with hot water and dawn soap. You see if you attach and I attach every day like I do it get greasy from your hands and products. Washing it with dawn will fix that and it won’t pop off anymore.

get a cheap hair dryer second hand and buy a cheap diffuser attachment from amazon, that’s what i did. but you don’t even need one most peoples hair looks better air dried if you have a good ruitine
Hey Jayme. Ive got curly hair but with that also comes with a layer of frizz! There are loads of fly aways and frizz all the time so do you have any advice for this?
A future curl is a present frizz.... just be patient... dc condition leave in and repeat
my hair used to be really frizzy. it took a few months of transitioning to my natural hair to figure out a proper ruitine, so if you’re transitioning it might be your products or ruitine. but my best advice is to use a styler and gel, and when your hair is 50% dry wrap it in a silk scarf until it’s dry. sorry if my advice isn’t helpful.
