For the people asking about the buddy bran thing it's actually really simple when you read the buddy.
It says make the minion golden and get it 1 turn sooner. If you bran it becomes golden and you get it 2 turns sooner. Which is right away.
This was my first thought and it makes sense.

Nah, it would be an optional thing. Only would trigger if both/all players are waiting for timer and say they are done (just like how hero selection works). but they have enough bugs, small indie company, etc.
