Such a beautiful presentation of larger than life Ramana Maharishi is made possible because of your complete humility and deep knowledge Sir, thank you. In addition to already mentioned benefits, those who find it hard to meditate because the thoughts are running hard in all directions will be able to subdue the thoughts by asking "who am I", everytime they find themselves driven away by thoughts. As soon as we ask that question we will be able to notice the mind goes utterly quite for awhile, this precious quietness is very useful to extend the stillness of the mind. As we repeat this again and, whenever we catch the runaway thoughts, we eventually find ourselves being able to focus one single object, such as observing the ingoing and outgoing breathe, observing the sensation of the whole body or specific point of the body, remaining focussed on single thought (mantras, prayers) etc ... or even those who are focused on specific breathing techniques to attain various siddhis will be enormously aided by asking this question, because the runaway thoughts loose relevance upon the question "who am I". Various methods of meditation travel in the same direction but as they disconnect koshas from the thinker, they begin to branch out to yield specific benefits as they have been intended and revealed by the gurus. As I have mentioned in my earlier comments it is through my own experience of meditating in solitude for 53 days and being able to go through the three stages you mentioned, I am able to claim with confidence that Ramana Maharishi's " who am I" method is the most simplest and efficient tool for anyone who aspire to attain stillness. Regarding his teachings of, in my words, " meditational living" once we reach the state of feeling a sensation through out the body similar to guisebom, which I would call "orgasmic sensation" in meditation, we can continue to feel that sensation through out the day, just by observing the body's sensation while we are focused on the job at hand. If unnecessary thoughts jump in, by asking "who am I" or stating " I am that I am that" meaning everything in this world is my making one can continue to be in the state of "meditational living". Like Ramana Maharishi lived his life if we can train our mind to adapt to thinking everything we do in our life is a service, including our paid job, and thrive to do our best but learn to move on without afflictions, then we are heading in the right direction towards ultimate freedom from birth and suffering. I also like to add that like Krishna state in Gita, by taking birth after birth one will eventually reach the same freedom, in my view, here the karma and fate have to play a role otherwise one could go through the same experiences over and over again for the entire life time of the universe. The argument of there is no continuation of life after death is not true if we are the atoms or particles in the body because we can observe with the help of science when the cells die the body is stripped and the particles take up new body, they may appear as particles when we mechanically observe them but neither in the dream nor in the state of Prajna where the entire structure of the internal world can be witnessed we see no particles but we see sentient beings. That is the reality. In my view, our world is real, so are the worlds in our dreams but their appearance to us are not real due to limitations and conditions of senses and various Koshas. Thank you once again Sir ! For giving us an opportunity to reflect on our own experiences and reevaluate our own life experiences by bringing the teachings of the great Ramana Maharishi.

தன்னை தான் அறியும் போது எழும் கேள்வி தான் நான் யார்? எவன் ஒருவனபுலன்களை மனதால் அடக்கி மனதை ஒரு நிலைப்படுத்தி எங்கும் எதிலும் சமநோக்கு பார்வை கொண்டு நான் எனது என்ற நிலைப்பாட்டில் இருந்து விலகி இருக்கும்போது தன் உள் எழும் கேள்வி தான் நான் யார்? அவன் பட்ரு அட்ரவன் செயல்களை கடந்தவன் அவனுக்கு தேவையானது இவ்வுலகில் எதுவும் இல்லை காலத்தை கடந்தவன் கலத்தின் ஆதி நிலையில் நிலை கொண்டு இருப்பவன் அவன் எல்லாவற்றிலும் தன்னை காண்பான் தான் உள் எல்லாவற்றையும் காண்பான் அவன் எச் செயலை செய்தாலும் தாமரை இலை தண்ணீர் போல இருப்பான் அவனை எச் செயலும் பேரழிவு போன்ற நிகழ்வுகள் ஏற்படும்போது என்த விதமான மனசலனமும் இல்லாமல் சில கர்மாக்கள் தன் நிலையை கடந்து தன் நிறைவு அடைகிறது என்று அமைதியாக இருப்பான் அவன் கர்மா மாயை இவற்றில் இருந்து விலகி தன்னை அனாதி என உனரும் போது வெற்றிடம் ( ஆகாயத்தில்) நிலை கொண்டு இருப்பான் அவன் எங்கும் நிறைந்திருக்கும் பரமாத்மாவை தன் உள் அறிவான் அவன் சதா சர்வ காலமும் பரமாத்மாவை த்யானித்து தன் உள் தான் நிலை கொண்டு இருப்பான் அவனே ஜீவன் முக்தி நிலை அடைந்தவன. இதுவே ஆன்ம சொருபம் ஆன்ம தத்துவம்.

*நான் யார்* என்பது தன்னுள் இருக்கும் ஆன்மாவை புரிந்து கொண்டு அந்த ஆன்மாவை தொற்றி இருக்கும் கர்மாவை (தொற்று நோய்) புரிந்து கொள்ளுதலும ஆகும் என்று நான் என் சாதாரண அறிவுக்கு உட்பட்டு எண்ணுகிறேன்... ஆன்மாவில் இந்த தொடர் தொற்றால் எவ்வளவு சிரமப்படுகிறது என்பதை உணர்ந்து அந்த தொடர் தொற்றை (நோயை) எப்படி சரிசெய்ய முடியும் என்பதை சிந்திப்பதே அல்லது நோய்க்கு மருந்து என்பது தான் ஆன்மீகம். நான் யார் என்ற விசாரனை ஆன்மாவையும் புரிந்து கொண்டு தொற்றி உள்ள கர்மா ஆல் எந்த அளவு (திறமை அல்லது ஆற்றல்)செயல்பட முடியும் + எதை செய்ய முடியாது என்று உணர்ந்து அறிந்து கொள்ளுதலும் ஆகும் என்று நினைக்கிறேன் அல்லது உணர்கிறேன்... நன்றி 😊...
