As much as I am siding w Kendrick, i wanted to share this, just playing devil’s advocate. I’m signed at UMG as well, I wonder if the UMG teams struck it or if Drake’s team did. Someone can post a video of one of my songs & if it’s too close to the actual recording, UMG has tracers out that will find it & automatically strike it.
So it could be him & his team, could just be his label automatically doing it. They have a team at UMG that just skims online & keeps their artists’ stuff off of other pages, so maybe that?
