Don't get me wrong, I like what they did to the series regardless.

But sometimes, you gotta realize that this is between the Runner series and Fate (then leads to flux) Which gets more serious. So, we need to at least see, that Commander Video is enjoying his life until he meets, his Fate.
I like to think of the Runner games as an alternate timeline. This game takes place in said alternate timeline, where reality is completely warped. The other timeline leads to FATE.
The first Runner was in the BIT.TRIP collection, Runner2, its sequel, was not. The Runner series was not a series when it was just pixels. You can still buy the collection on PC and PS4.
Yes I'm one of these people, I really miss the pixel art and the awesome music :c This looks mice, but too cartoon for my taste
@@onihaiena6152 Runner 2 fits into the regular Bit.Trip timeline though, in between Runner and Fate. Its ending leads directly into Fate, the final level is even called "Flight to Fate," so Runner 2 isn't really set in an alternate timeline. Runner3 however doesn't seem to fit in with ANYTHING, not even Runner 2, so that game very well could be set in an alternate timeline or just be not canon altogether, though that would be a bit of a shame at least in my opinion.

To anyone still complaining about the transition to 3D, stop it. This is no longer the Bit Trip series, this is the Runner series. The Bit Trip series was always meant to be a hexology that began and ended. Runner 2 and 3 are a separate series.
Additionally, a game on the scale as big as this could not work as well in 8 bit, considering how many 2.5D elements there are in it.

Runner 2 is not called Bit Trip Runner 2. It's called Bit Trip Presents: Runner 2. And Runner 3 doesn't have Bit Trip anywhere in the title.
