The first one of the series actually got me into the anime. But I think for this one, I played it before watching Shippuden.
Not me but i do see people playing this game in the computer shop back when i was a kid in 2011 or 2012.
Naruto isn't a popular anime in my country only dragon ball,inuyasha,slam dunk and detective conan are popular in my country

2012. I'm 6 years old. Coming to my older brothers house for a sleep-over. Said hi to my uncle and aunt. Showtime. I get in my pijama. We start the ps2. We insert the disc. I pick Gaara and my brother picks some random ass dude. I mash the f out of the circle button. For the first time in my life,i beat my brother. The happines,the joy,the satasfiction. My brother gets angry,pick curse mark Kimimaro AND BEATS THE LIVING FUCK OUT OF ME AND MY GAARA. We were playing for HOURS AND HOURS. I finnaly get to bed and sleep. Best night of my life.

Good times that unfortunately won't come back, but I have great memories. I played it with the entire interface in Japanese (I had bought it at a neighborhood store and didn't know it wasn't translated), I memorized each initial symbol of the sentences so I knew what each menu option did and where it would take me.
Does anybody else misses Anko as a playable character on recent Naruto games? Cause I really do...

I guess the sequels were the Ninja heroes series for handhelds. Same gameplay and everything just updated roster and have up to 4 characters battling at the same time which was always my favourite

It would be brilliant if they do whole Sippuden game as this. This game was darkest shit back in the day. The bandits in free roam scared the most shit out of me besides Deidara, Sasori and Orochimaru. Imagine how sick it would be to have Itachi vs Sasuke arc and Pain arc like this

Playing this in 2019 With PS2 Emulator on PC :D Way easier than on ps2 but well the ultimate jutsu pressing combination? yeah its hell when am doing it gettin used to it tho
It isn't way easier than ps2 :
You aren't playing it natively .playing through emulator is shitty asf compared to playing natively , through emulator has a lot of technical problems and Audio problems . And also you need a powerful pc to be able to emulate as far as I'm concerned .
And you do not benefit of the simplicity and convenience of the console thus better experience .
Hopefully ps5 will be backward compatible with all previous gens it will be like pcs except better when it comes to playing old games as it has the simplicity of consoles / only 499$ price for a hardware that can easily emulate old games / it can run ps3 and ps4 games unlike in pc / enhanced textures as they are developing their own emulator and I'm pretty sure the hardware manufacturer knows the best way possible to have the best emulator for their own hardware so it will run better than pc emulators .

The most unique and underrated and best Naruto game will always be Naruto Ultimate Ninja 5 for me, this is so nostalgic, I love the fact that every character have 3 Ultimate Jutsus, you can clearly see it that they put more content on each character.
Feels like they made the game with love.

Naruto Uzumaki YT You have to complete a certain number of missions for Tsunade, then she will call you and a special event will happen where you explore Orochimaru's hideout once as Sasuke and again as Naruto, after that, young Sasuke will appear at one of the rooms in the hideout.
