Enroll first in Porsche Experience program to get a chance to drive some laps with instructors and meet professional Porsche factory drivers to learn from them, then cross your fingers hopping you get selected
Either have rich parents that can pay for you to have a ride or become a doctor and pay for a ride when your 50 plus. Or be really talented in karts but even then Talent walks and money talks
Glad it was a fair bit more racing this time thank you to IMSA per usual and the Drivers for keeping it mostly clean gotta love me some Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup racing 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Looks like race control doesn't arrive until next weekend either. No usual drive throughs for obvious incident responsibility. Even if Sedgewick moved inside a bit before race start, Dickinson just steamrolled him into a spin and not even a warning. Great racing otherwise.
No way Dickinson was maintaining pace car speed on those restarts. That plus the driving standards in this series were terrible. But!! lots of action and great commentating
The pin in the map at :53 is about halfway between Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay. Elkhart Lake is significantly farther south and is closer to Lake Michigan then the bay of Green Bay. Considering the historic significance of Road America, I would think you could get the location correct.
To follow up. The production crew was spoken to and despite correcting the issue last off-season, they reverted back to the incorrect pin location. It'll be corrected for this weekend's events.
The moment I saw that Porsche driving very close to the safetycar in the formation lap, I was worried that it may hit the red deluxe Porsche and it did spin just before the start. And the race was just 40min.
As a Brit, this was my first experience of Carrera Cup North America and what a complete farce it was. On the formation lap, Dickinson committed a “professional foul” on Sedgwick, gave him no room and hit his car causing the car into a spin. What was even worse was the race director allowed the race to start, when the cars weren’t in their correct position. At the very least another formation lap to allow Sedgwick to regain his correct position after being forced off. Why was this not allowed? The race director, Randy Buck, is obviously scared of upsetting Kelly Moss Racing!!! It reminded me of the 2021 F1 race at Abu Dhabi. A complete joke and brings the sport into disrepute. Something should be done about the inept race director!
Fantastic coverage..spot on commentary…thank you both so much.
How did you get the alternative commentary?
@@clairee5357 just UA-cam…Race1 had sound problems initially though.
I think next year I need to take the 5 hour drive and see this in person. Such a good race to watch, fun cars.
IMSA rules! I’ve got your vinyls from last year’s Michelin Road Atlanta Cup on my Porsche over here🇬🇧. No 311 RS this year.😢
Greatest track in Midwest to go watch racing, and the food is awesome. Eat for charity!
How does someone begin a career in racing in the Porsche Carrera Cup?? what a dream!

Beautiful
According to the equal cars, Dickinson is by far the best driver of this guys there.
I think the NASCAR "rubbin' is racin'" has infected the Porsche drivers this weekend.

I would recommend contacting info@imsa.com with your feedback so it can be forwarded to the appropriate. Thank you!

@@imsaofficial thanks! Great coverage of the race regardless. Really appreciate it.

Looks like Road America has been moved to the UP lol.
Pace car going much too slow at the start. Should have been well onto pit turn off after field comes out of final turn.
Kelly moss got busted here last year with an illegal car.. seems the tradition continues!
No one questions Riley's speed? Kelly moss has to much money in the series for imsa to actually inspect his car.
last year they got busted 3 times for cheating... seems Porshce doesn't seem to care
