When I failed in maths in a term exam in Class VI, my teacher told me, "you come from a family of engineers, your father is a B.Tech, your uncles are also engineers, your paternal grandad is an architect, and your maternal grandfather is a metallurgist. How can you fail in Maths."
Incidentally, one of my friends (whose father was a rank holder CA, and had also done Cost Accountancy), managed only 3/100 in the first term exam in Class IX Accounts.
But that was our last date with failures in school, maths paper in class VI term test for me and accounts paper in Class IX term test for my friends.
We more than made up for our failures in the Class X exams.

The biggest irony is that even though they showed the girl wearing skirt, most of the school even nowadays have the dress code of salwaar suit from class 9 for girls.
