Asking Alexandria is like a perfect sandwich made of amazing screaming, clean vocals, techno, breakdowns, perfect lyrics, honesty, great instruments, mayo, lettuce, tomato, turkey breast sliced to perfection, and toasted whole wheat bread.
This is my favorite song. Has been for years. To me it's just the peak of the Rock spirit. Ik they're done with playing this stuff, but for a time it was the greatest thing ever
There was closure with this album. Absolutely amazing, beautiful, love every song on it. Asking Alexandria was at good ground here :3 they even kept their electronic roots!
" I'm everything we need to make this scene what it should have been, Remember platinum albums, sold out stadiums, leave it to me. This music's dead with a bullet in its head let's wake it up! " What happened to this passion Danny Worsnop?
Ian Freitas You're actually incorrect. Ben wrote SUAS. Danny wrote the majority of R&R by himself and he completely wrote all of the lyrics to FDTD. Ben was lead song writer on The Black (and it sucked) and he wrote the majority of SUAS before AA went into the studio to record it in late 2008 - early 2009. These are facts that have been told by both Danny AND Ben
7 years later, I pre-ordered this album and I don't regret it. I don't care what anyone says. This album kicks ass from start to finish. I may listen to technical death metal and prog now but I don't hate this album really. James is a BEAST drummer and Danny's vocals were always on point. I may not listen to or like this band anymore but this album is not bad at all. I don't know how people look at this band in the same manner that people look at bands like ADTR, PIerce the Veil or Falling In Reverse. They're so whiny and annoying and cheesy. This band may have its gimmicks and I guess you could say I'm biased since they were the first metalcore band I ever listened to but I'll be damned if someone actually think these drums, riffs, and vocals are bad. Top notch shit. It's no wonder they rose to the top.
Agreed 100%. I find myself coming back to this album years later as well. I've always stuck to this band, and I agree that they've had their cringy moments, but not nearly as bad as some of the other bands. I feel this album was ahead of its time.
This song definitely has one of the best breakdowns I've ever heard. Seen them live 4 times and they keep getting better and better! Can't wait for the new album
This entire album from the first track to the last, not only is their best one ever but it is a great metal album aswell. Pretty mature, without the glam core shit but still confined within its limits. No cap legendary.

Kayla colosi Darling this is rock 'n roll. I understand you're just getting into this 'scene', so if you want heavy metal try Iron Maiden, Slayer, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Judas Priest, Tool, AC/DC, Kiss, ect., ect.. I know some good ones I grew up listening to like System of a Down, Alice in Chains, Gun's 'n Roses, and Korn are good to start off with. Hope you have fun. c:
+Ms. Kitty Kat AA is Metalcore and I'm pretty sure that SOAD isn't metal. Rock 'n Roll is like we are harlot. Heavy metal isn't just Thrash and Classic Metal, although they are the originals.Three is Death Metal, Black Metal, White (Christian) Metal, Hardcore, Deathcore, Grindcore (anything with "core" basically), Slam Metal (Brutal Slamming Death), and a whole lot of other subgenres which people made up to split hairs
Who cares what you call it? As Duke Ellington said (look him up if you are clueless) "There are only two kinds of music...good and bad." Definitions are for the small minded. As soon as you "label" a band or entire style of music you do it all a huge disservice. So..we have solid playing, solid songwriting and solid production. Hum...sounds like the "good" category to me.
My mum is a Christian, she goes to church every week and she said she was glad I started listening to this type of music instead of what she calls "mainstream crap". Just saying religion has nothing to do with musical preference.
Danny can still scream, he just chooses not to. He’s uploaded videos on social media of him screaming. Same with Oliver of Bring Me The Horizon. It’s dumb to assume a vocalist can’t scream anymore. It’s not something they forget how to do lol. Even if they damaged their throat from bad technique or no technique in the past, they can get their voice to being healthy again.
You people confuse me. How did you find this song if you hadn't been searching the band? If this is your first time listening to the music, and you don't like it, just move along. Opinions matter, and insults are not opinions.
