    Everyone saying this song doesn't fit in the album. Well listen to this;
    Be Someone Forever is about letting your memory go on, trying to find something that will let you be remembered forever.
    Ozymandias, the poem by Percy Bysshe Shelley, goes like this:
    I met a traveller from an antique land,
    Who said-“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
    Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand,
    Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
    And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
    Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
    Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
    The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
    And on the pedestal, these words appear:
    My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
    Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
    Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
    Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
    The lone and level sands stretch far away.”
    The poem is about Ozymandias, the king, who claims that their works will be remembered for eternity, yet they are just a "colossal Wreck" with nothing else to show. Ozymandias is remembered through this way, however; his lack of rememberance makes him memorable.
    And of course, the last two words of the poem are "far away", the title of the next track.
    It fits in way better than y'all think.

      Didn't actually think people would care about a song fitting or not? Like yeah, it might not be like the others in terms of sound, but it's a bloody brilliant song all the same and I'm glad it was made.

      @@derpysnakemusic3676 even then, what do they mean it doesn’t fit musically? A lot of this album has this escalating melancholy that peaks here, then descends to the end of the album. It’s more about theme than musicality, and still, I can’t figure out why it doesn’t. Is it the grittier and more dark tone, or the very synthetic background? Red Vox has never been genre specific, and stronger for it, so when someone says something doesn’t fit in.. I’m confused by it.

    The outro to this song blew me away when listening to the album for the first time. It was as if sensing danger after the final fight of a video game was supposed to be over or something.

    (lyrics taken from Bandcamp)
    Half sunk, the mighty face
    These words upon the base
    Nothing beside remains
    Of the man who was born and died a king
    Look on this mighty place
    Now gone without a trace
    Lost to the long decay
    In the land of the valley of the king
    Memory cloaked in shadow
    Here the river runs shallow
    All will be
    Mystery
    All will be
    Remedied
    Once sat upon the throne
    What's left, made of stone
    Ravaged, left to erode
    By the winds of the valley of the king
    None stand against the flow
    How water smooths the stone
    To pass all that we know
    A demand of the spirit within

    I went into a dee dive into all things Red Vox on _Spotify,_ recently. This song, after I heard it once, went right into my "Favorites" playlist. The composition is amazing and the effects on the vocals are pretty wicked. Plus, if you really listen to the lyrics, you get a very lovely story about a man who could have been everything but wound up being nothing.

    Does anyone else feel like this is the weakest song on the album? It's my least favorite. It doesn't really fit the feel of the album to me. If I recall Vinny said he made this song in 1 day. Like the long term effort put into others just wasn't there. The lyrics are cool but it's very different from the rest of the album. The ending of the main song, with the solo felt a little dragged out. The ending is very nice and it builds some kind suspenseful feeling. But that's all I enjoy about the song is the end. I think that it doesn't fit the somewhat sad nature of the the album, lyrically and musically. In my opinion I think this is one of the weakest Red Vox songs.
    edit : After reading a few comments I can definitely see how it fits much better Instrumentally and lyrically, than what I first thought. The album was still brand new at the time I wrote the comment so I hadn't fully understood it yet. I do get it now, but it doesn't change my feelings on the song. Album has been out for 3 years and it hasn't grown on me. It's one of the few Red Vox songs that I don't like. Of course, not every song is gonna be a winner for everyone. If you like this one it that's great, but it's not my kinda thing.

      @@LukeBeadles I understand the connection there between Be Someone Forever and this song lyrically. It still seems too different compared to the other tracks. I'm sure the words Far Away were intentional, but the meaning of that song seems entirely different to Ozymandias. It might fit the album in someway but I'm still not a fan of it.
