Well seeing how much TTPD is selling and the fact that some in the media are threatened tells me, no there is not actual Taylor fatigue. Taylor needs to keep doing what she wants and not be bothered by some BS reviews. Cash and fan engagement talks much louder than some review from some person who may or may not have an agenda

I agree! This album is definitely a grower & I didn’t think it was one of my favorites until now that I have listened to it a few times. Lyrically & sonically, it was well done for the most part. There’s only one song that I don’t like bc of the lyrics & “ICDIWABH” feels like it doesn’t belong in an album that has a more folk pop sound to the rest. This album shouldn’t be judged from a first listen view point. It needs time & further analysis that many reviewers are not going to give because they obviously want to get in a review for views to the public.

I totally agree! The first time I listened I felt that it all sounds pretty similar but I was still so happy to have new music from her. Then, I continued listening, researching, and “spending time” with the album. I honestly don’t know how I thought it was similar at this point. Every song is unique in its own way, but they all come together to create such an impactful album. Her ability to write poetry and song lyrics is unparalleled. She is a true mastermind and genius, that is the bottom line. I’ve always respected her, but I was never a “Swiftie,” as I am a few years older than her, and I was never into country music. However, as she has continued to grow in her artistry I have grown to love what she does more and more. I have immense respect for her and I am inspired by her ability. She is a once every hundred years type of genius. We are lucky to have her has part of our generation.

Sales, numbers, streams and the overall opinion of the public matters more than a couple writers. She's broken records set by artists like Elvis. Fan fatigue would be her new album failing instead of breaking Spotify and Amazon records.

when i first heard the album i was expecting pop/concert vibes...my immidiate reaction was omg what is this too much words...but then i heard them again...the digestion process began and omg! DO I LOVE IT!? sHE IS truly a master mind! knowing the lover house is a psych ward we just been in different rooms? is insane!? ppl judged this album less then 24 hours! listen and digest and u will be bopping ur heads to it. It is absosultely a gift she gave us 31 songs! was i OVERWHELMED? YES!!! BUT DO I HATE IT? NOOOO! I LOVE IT!

1. It's bizarre that people have forgotten that they can choose NOT to buy an album, see a show, watch a video etc. They would rather attack someone for being productive than admit not everything has to appeal to them personally.
2. Taylor is in the middle of a TWO YEAR world tour where she plays the same songs every night. She also released her last album over a year ago. It's not surprising that a creative person seeks to create something new under those circumstances. Musical artists used to release albums much more frequently than they do now.
3. Finally, the woman will be 35 by the time this tour ends, and I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't tour on a scale like this for a very long time, if ever.
Society doesn't tell male artists to shut up and go away like they do female ones.

The critics wanted this album to bomb. They wanted to see her fail. They want fans to turn on her. The thing is, this album is amazing and her true fans understand it. As a woman who has faced a lot of what she writes about, I felt this was some her BEST writing yet. Earlier I seen someone say that Midnights was for the media and the public, but TTPD was for the fans. This album was one of her most vulnerable and HUMAN albums. I applaud her for being so expressive, knowing the general public probably wouldn't accept this album like they have previous ones. She knows her real fans and the people who actually understand her lyrics will have this on repeat for AWHILE.
