ABOUT JURASSIC WORLD EVOLUTION 2
Jurassic World Evolution 2 is the much-anticipated sequel to Frontier’s highly successful Jurassic World Evolution, building upon the groundbreaking and immersive 2018 management simulation. They should add swimming for land dinosaur and more tools to manipulate the terrain. Also, they should just add the hybrids, the marine reptiles, and the pterosaur in the base game.
It cant be JWE3 for me unless they add zoo tycoon 2 type terrain editing (even waterfalls), semi aquatics being able to transition from swimming to walking, and a ton more guest attractions.
I think they should let people create new hybrids from base-game dinosaurs and genetic preferences. For instance, the Tyrannosaurus and Ankylosaurus are individually good appeal, but combine the two into one species, and you get the Hybridization of both species with the rating of both individual dinosaurs adding up to become the new Hybrid's rating.

@@thatoneguy6432 though it sounds fun I think that would be too ambitious. I think more recognizable hybrids would be their priority. I think they would want to add simpler things.
@@vernondelacruz7812 They now have plenty of time. If they did, think of how much revenue it would bring in! Just have only 3 carnivores, 3 herbivores, 3 aquatic creatures, and 3 avian species to start with, that's 81 different combinations, and who's to say they need to make new species, why not do what other games have done and let the player model it? Like the lego jurassic world, you can pick and choose different parts of the dinosaur to come from different species, then like Sims 4, let them interpret the vocal sounds from pre-made sound effects, and let us either default the pattern or hand-paint it ourselves.
There’s so much that can be improved upon with JWE3. Attractions, better terrain manipulation, bridges, no dinosaur clipping, fully unlocked sandbox from the get go etc. But the main thing, PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION. It’s incredibly frustrating that JWE2 is the only game I get performance issues like stuttering and dropped frames with on my PS5. You don’t even have to get far into a build for it to do that. It’s even a problem on PC so it’s been a frustrating game for me overall. I’m welcome to a new game!
That’s because JWE2 caters to the old gen users. JWE3 needs to be a next gen exclusive. If old gen players cry, honestly…tough shit.

In Jurassic world evolution 3, I would love to see it have a planet zoo style mechanic system, where there’s no terrain constraints inside of the maps.(also being able to change water level)
Honestly was hoping for Megalodon today, but it's good that the death of Jurassic World Evolution is no time soon, and JWE2 will not be the final game.

To anyone who thinks JWE3 or something similar is unnecessary, I just want to memtion the huge limitations for last gen consoles. Planet Zoo never released on last gen consoles and is only available for pc and current gen consoles. JWE3 could have more in depth mechanics and terrain editing. Instead of being held back by last gen consoles, frontier can put maximum effort into bringing us more animations, better mechanics, and improved environments without having to accomodate last gen

cautiously optimistic, especially considering Planet Zoo was brought to consoles, so we could see a lot of features in that games (breeding, modular building, enrichment etc), things that have been requested a lot, come to the next game.
This new game better have a damn boat tour! People have been asking for a river ride tour for our parks since the first game
I’d like to see the behaviors expanded upon. The social interactions were a great addition. Maybe add more than 1 social interaction the next time to add more variety and liveliness. Improve the pathing. Dino still just walk through large bodies of water as if it wasn’t there. More dynamic weather options. I’d love to have an option where it’s just constant downpour and thunderstorms without the risk of a tornado. Maybe implement some thing from planet zoo like caves and shelters and behaviors where the dinosaurs will try to seek shelter from the rain or heat. Allow the pools of water to be deeper so dinosaurs and semi aquatics can swim. Maybe even add toys for the dinosaurs to play with just to bring out their personality a bit
Excited to see how this improves on JWE2. Jwe2 itself expanded on jwe1 MASSIVELY, so they definitely need to give us something substantial for a 3rd game. So I'm gonna leave a little wishlist here:
-expanded terrain editing
-expanded pterosaur/marine ai and construction
-cenozoic animals (assuming they aren't added to jwe2 before it ends)
-returning jpog features (missions, site B, cleaners, etc)
-More advanced dinosaur ai, combat, and behaviours
-dinosaur enrichment (scratching posts, climbing frames for small theropods, salt licks, shelters, just some basic stuff most creatures could use so similar skeletons can share animations)
-sauropods and hadrosaurs able to defend themselves
Either way im quite excited. Admittedly paying full price for what will probably be another relatively incremental improvement doesn't sit well with me, but I'm hoping that feeling fades as we see more glimpses at the game itself

they should honestly rework the combat system.
the combat system should be like Jpog. even if 2 creatures are fighting, another 3rd party can join in and randomly attack.
also hate how 99% herbivores are a push over in jwe/2
for instance, a triceratops should be on the same level as rex, but it's not even close. (non genetically modify)

I’m cautiously optimistic, if the game is just Evolution 2 but with more species I’ll wait till it goes on sale to buy, I’ll need some type of massive improvement to decide to get the game. Bigger islands, baby dinosaurs, or better terrain tools to combine the air, sea, and land species (depth in water, swimming dinosaurs, etc)
There’s going to be big improvements. JWE2 and JWE are night and day different to one another. It’ll be the same with JWE3. And while I agree with all your points, I don’t understand why you need “bigger islands”. I highly doubt you max out every map, especially the new flat, square maps. Even Evo and BIS begin having performance issues when half those maps get filled in. So I doubt you’re the exception
@@JBrotsis1 a passion of mine with games is recreating movies scenes, so naturally recreating Jurassic Park and Jurassic World is a must for me, however doing so accurately is difficult. For one, the sizes of these parks are massive in a way we never realized. The arrival to Jurassic Park with the Brachiosaurus scene alone takes up a huge chunk of the map. Creating either requires you to overlook some parts of the park or shrink everything down. I’m not asking for a huge map three times the size of the ones we have now, but something say 25% larger. Not to mention a lot of these larger parks don’t have the space needed to just have nature in between parks while still having a lot of species in the park that makes an island park look natural. I like having larger enclosures for a few species because that makes them look more natural and pleasing to the animals. It’s a mind thing I know but I prefer large parks with things spaced away from each other over packing in as much detail as possible.
Th at being said, this isn’t my #1 most wanted addition to the game, in fact I would say it’s pretty low but it involves the island maps from JPOG where you could create your own island and I think that if we could with the maps we have now, they would seem smaller than we think
@@JBrotsis1 I agree on that but for me personally, I like having parks with big open spaces, almost like a safari park and not a zoo with small exhibits. So my prefered building style would not compromise my performances unlike someone who fills up real estate with more buildings and infrastructure.
I've never felt a need for frontier to make another as long as they properly updated jwe2. But if this is jwe3, it needs to have everything in evos "if jwe2 was perfect" video. It needs to be the zoo tycoon 2 of a modern gaming generation, a planet zoo equivalent. Part nature preserve, part amusement/theme park. Every aspect fleshed out to its maximum that anyone could think of (enclosure customization, decors of all degrees, attractions, animal behavior and interaction advanced terrain manipulation etc.) I have very high expectations for this game. More than a stepping stone sequel. A long leap.
We shouldn’t be surprised, these games have been successful, Frontier & Universal want to continue this partnership, plus there’s a new movie on the way.
I’m honestly super excited for this. Not being tied to old-gen consoles means Frontier can do so much more without having to account for the last generation.
Trying to keep expectations low while staying optimistic. My biggest concern is what content we might “lose” at the start of the new game’s life cycle: will all animals from JWE2 be included in the new game at launch? Or will Frontier keep some of them for DLC?
I’m excited by the possibility of new impactful gameplay mechanics but kind of dreading the idea of going back to a more incomplete game. In both of the existing JWE games I blasted through them at launch when the experience they offered was objectively worse, and while I’ve gotten hundreds of hours out of both during their life cycles part of me wishes that my first experience with both games was when they were in their best form.
At this point just spend 20-30 euros and get prehistoric kingdom and wait until it updates

Nah. I’d rather have a third game. I like the aesthetic look of the JP/JW lore more than PK. Idc about historically accurate animals; I prefer the look and sounds from these animals in this franchise. Plus I’m not about to wait 20 years for PK to get completely updated.

damn. we waited a billion years for a modern jpog. now we're moving onto the 3rd in the follow up. that is wild. i wonder if modular buildings is still too much of a big ask?
I'd love it, but I think it's a bit too far, as many people, especially those on Console, buy the game because it's well...easier to build than say, Planet Coaster, or Planet Zoo, etc. I know thats why I originally bought JWE1 originally. Yes, many people, especially on PC, would love it. I'd love it. But they'd lose a large portion of their customers in doing so. I think it would be a very bad idea for Frontier to do so, and if they did it would likely result in the game being abandoned very quickly, just like F1 Manager 22.
I think it'd be best for them to just add a LOT of new features, and really really diversify the game, into less of a "Mainly Jurassic World", and into more of a "Extinct Zoo Sandbox", as that would open up an entire new area of consumers for them. But that's my personal opinion.

Why? JWE2 was more about mainland than islands. It was a great feature in JPOG. But that doesn’t mean it should be cared over to JWE.
@@JBrotsis1 it's not just because it's a JPOG feature. people want more customizable maps, and that's a great way to do customizable maps. the next best thing would be a map editor, but that might be a little too much for people who just wanna start up a park for 3 hours.

@@terrysyvertson9205 adding baby dinosaurs would be too ambitious. an island generator with some sliders aren't as big of a task if they plan ahead of it. (they would not be able to add this to JWE2, the assets wasn't made with that in mind)

It is a bit of a cash grab, but they could implement new features yet again, new customisation, new tools, new animations, new biomes. I think they have a lot of feedback from evo 2 so hopefully they take it on board

i’m hoping for more first person walking mechanics!! doesn’t have to be a lot but just stuff like opening doors and checking out your buildings from first person is so neat to me
I really hope it keeps the snap point system that the first 2 had. I can't play Planet Zero because it doesn't have a system for assisted placing. Im not sure if it is a personal quirk or part of my ADHD (diagnosed) but absolute creative freedom makes me incapable of creating.
Hopefully we get a building system akin to planet zoo. I’d love to have custom buildings and fences. Imagine being able to recreate the cliffside scene from the first JP movie. A nice way to keep players from making the entire enclosure a pit would be to tie it in with the visitor viewing mechanics. Encouraging players to have ground level viewing to increase score.
Also lets a have a breeding system in there haha

Really wasn't expecting this at all. I'm curious to see what happens with this
Waterfalls, better terrain manipulation, proper rides (rollercoasters, balloon rides, boat rides, submarine rides, etc), better shops and unique buildings (but also keeping the uniform designs if you desire that), stairs/elevated platforms, the God Tree, more decorations (fountains, bones, fossils, etc), decoration snap-to placement, more underwater decorations, employee only pathways, different stuff types to hire (cleaners, tour guides, security, clerks, lawyers, etc), price setting.... and many more besides.
I'm excited to hear more about it, but not too excited for the game itself yet. I agree it would need some significant improvements over JWE2. I still play JWE2 regularly, I love it, I'd need a good reason why I shouldn't just continue playing that. Personally I'd like to see improvements to the park management side, I'd like more variety of guest amenities, maybe some focus on producing merch, advertising, managing the economic side, and messing with genetics to tie in with the themes of commercialising nature. And more chaos - it's a little too easy to control the dinosaurs, Rexy just stays happily in her pen so long as she's got enough sand.

Omg I'm so excited to hear such news!! What I'm hoping for JWE3 to possibly be like is something like with Zoo Tycoon games having a *Ultimate Collection* version where it has all the content of all DLCs and base game into one pack or even new game but we'll never know till Frontier show what they have planned for the future of such news. (Or even though it's been hoped for a while now and dont know if it will happen, a JPOG mix/inspiration or planned DlC for JWE3)🤩😍

Quick little theory:
Maybe the reason they released the hybrids pack was so they could get some quick money to help make JWE3 and help them have new models and animations ready to transfer into JWE3 for free
All I want are baby dinosaurs, walking pterosaurs, mammals and park customisation on the level of Planet Zoo.
A "make your own hybrid" kind of system like Impossible Creatures would also be amazing, but with the sheer number of creatures in the games I would never expect anything like that lol.

I hope that all the non-hybrid DLC species from JWE2 (including Utahraptor) will all return in JWE3 as default species rather than DLC species.

New tools, more customisation? Something evo 2 does lack a bit
So much. JWE2 is held back massivly by been released on the PS4 and Xbox One, which have severe limits on what can be done, and greatly limits what can be added. A new game that is only for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X, opens the floodgates to allow so many more things to be added, beyond just getting new Dinosaurs. A 3rd game also allows them the option of building something from the ground up, fixing issues that are at the core of JWE2's gameplay loop, that are simply impossible to fix with just an update or DLC.

Absolutely awesome news! I was really hoping for a third game but could see why there may not have been. There are numerous improvements that a third game could solve but one of the biggest for me, is making the third game a next gen exclusive. Games need to completely stop catering to old gen consoles.
Hoping they get the size of the spino right this time. Or have like a new sizing system maybe where you can adjust the size of the animal a little bit. That would be sick.
Oh wow, this is a surprise! Not the existence of a third Jurassic World game by Frontier, because that seemed very likely, considering how well the first two games have done for them, and especially after a new Jurassic World (or whatever it'll be called) movie was announced.... But I was not expecting any sort of news so soon! I agree that we're not likely to hear much more about it for a while now, but this is definitely huge.
Honestly I feel like there are definitely ways to build on the JWE formula. A lot of people complained that JWE2 wasn't a proper sequel (which is just wild to me, given how many new things were added compared to the first game). I do think they'd need to work on things like park management, and campaign mode, and stuff like that, but there is so much room for improvement on what JWE2 already has to offer. Especially if it's not a direct sequel, if they take it in a slightly different direction. I'm curious to see what they end up doing with a third game...

You are correct, they will need to “push the boat out” in order to get me back. I already swore off the next movie, really most movies from Hollywood, so to get me for the game they better deliver. This means: BREEDING MECHANICS. DINO BREEDING AND BABIES APPEARED ALL 6 MOVIES WE HAVE SO FAR.

I guess the last DLCs for JWE2 would be in 2024, JWE3 will come along JW4 in 2025 and want of its Improvements is, Walking pterosaurs, Sauropods fighting, Crocodiles, Cenozoic species, Taking control animals just like Vehicles.
It does follow the release pattern the Frontier JWE games have had. JWE released in 2018. In 2021 we got JWE2. About 2 to 2.5 years later.so it's been nearly 3 years since the release of JWE2. I haven't even finished the last DLC's that were released. I got an unfinished Biosyn park and I never did the snowy map bit. I have to get back to it. I hope they will tell us a bit more about JWE3 this time. Instead of all the teasing. If it's not a major improvement over JWE2 I will just wait for a sale.
Would love for this to be evolution 3. I know they did this in the first game but id love to return to the original islands. Im a huge fan of Sorna and was kind of bummed at how little space there was to build. Imagine a larger Sorna map like the biosyn one. But either way im excited.
with this series I always dreamed of a free-hybrid system where you could splice any applicable species with any other ones - unlike the few pre-made ones we're forced to deal with. I also hope there's more focus on marine attractions and marine life.

I do t know if I have it in me to go through this a third time to get all the features I wanted. But I do hope if it’s a third one it’s the perfect version will all features we desire and all creatures we want.
I really hope they use another engine, it holds the game back significantly. With newer consoles being mainline now there should be nothing holding them back now
I think they should start with all the animals from the 2nd game, bog standard. Then they can expand tremendously on the lineup. So what if, for example, something like a dracovenator and a dilophosaurus are the same thing with a size change, I want ALL of the variety! Mix it up a little; colors, size, details ect. That, and add things like Cenozoic animals. We all want them. Mammoths, procoptodon, smilodon. And things like snakes and crocodiles. YES I want a titanoboa, why do you ask? And a Deinosuchus would be nice! You can make "groups" for terrain decorations, effectively "locking" a bunch of pre-set decorations togeather as a single item, improving game stability, and you can add a first-person mode that also lets you be eaten by dinosaurs (for horror parks/experiences). Maybe 3rd-person mode too? This is all do-able, and people would love it to pieces.
I think Frontier understands that the dinosaurs were pretty good, we would still like to see a bit more personality and maybe a little less clipping would be a huge improvement. But the flaw in the Evolution games is the absolutely robotic visitors. It doesn't make for a fun park management system when your guests are void of any personality. And it even makes them less fun to watch get eaten, I don't feel compelled to build for their enjoyment or for the games goals. I only want to sandbox what I think looks realistic. But it be nicer if I could see guests interacting with what they are doing, actually interacting with things they see on tours or in viewing areas... have preferences... spend money... yes this is just asking for Operation Genesis guests. But I'd like to see them add their own spin. Have disliked or species guests are afraid of seeing. Or attraction styles they want to avoid/seek out. And honestly can we please give buildings multiple functions? The visitors center doesn't have a bathroom? The hotels don't have bathrooms? The coffee shops, diners, and the giant arcade buildings... none have bathrooms?

I hope that "Evolution 3" won't be just a facelift of Evolution 2, like Evolution 2 was a facelift of Evolution "1", more like Evolution 1.5 then a new game on it's own. Better mechanics of Aviary and especially lagoon building with at least some freedom with planning the shape of it, and also terrain tools for lagoons including beaches would be awesome. Getting rid of the scientist mechanics and "terrain constraints" would be even better! Also breeding mechanics and baby dinos would be highly anticipated, including Petting Zoo mechanics, if this game is supposed to have to have any future and progress. Absolute focus on "movie accurate" dinosaurs should be at the first place instead of adding more and more new species (which you are not even able to fit in one park), as there are many dinos we are still waiting for to be added since 2018 (accurate, and I do mean ACCURATE Dilophosaurus, Mamenchisaurus, Corythosaurus, JP/JP-TLW/JPIII Triceratops and JW Stegosaurus; Segisaurus, Peloroplites, Teratophoneus, Microceratus and JP Parasaurolophus were also left behind, and many others need TLC to actually finally look like their movie counterparts ...no more obese apatosaurus please...). New attractions including playgrounds, waterparks, buildable coasters and river cruises, advanced decoration system that allows overlapping and better connection of these elements to look realistic, advanced building designing options and adjustment and hotel resort options (including aviary-based Pteratops Lodge and stand-alone luxurious Hilton resort "towers"), advanced and more sensitive terrain tools... there is a plenty of things that I think are not nice, but necessary to be added, otherwise the new game has nothing to offer in comparison to the previous two.

Please do crazy stuff that we thought could never happen for old games...like breeding 🙂..and islands generator..and if they go beyond limits they can make a mode where you play as a person and can enter buildings and it would be like a survival game🙂🙂🙂

I hope in Jurassic world evolution 3 we get more permian and maby even some cenozoic animals because what more is there really left to add? we got land dinosaurs, aquatic reptiles and pterosaurs.
Of course there could be some additions and changes they could do like for example maby having aquatic creature be able to live in deep lakes with the possibly of interacting with land animals.
Also having dinosaurs be able cohabit with pterosaurs in biodomes.
And lastly one of the most requested additions baby dinosaurs be finally a thing in the game.
But autside of those highly requested changes there aren't really any major things to add. So it might be the perfect opportunity to add some permian and cenozoic animals to spice things up. Having those others types of prehistoric animals in Jurassic world evolution 3 would be a great selling point to get people who own Jurassic world alive 2 to buy the sequel, because im not sure if adding more dinosaurs will all to enticing for a lot of people who already bought the first or second game.

I find it funny that we got news for a potential third game before the DLC announcement. I don't think I'll be buying this one right away like JWE2. If it's anything like the second game, then it's going to be around 70 dollars again. They better do more than just adding new species to improve this sequel. I've heard of the idea that Cenozoic animals will be the selling point for the game and I disagree.
I don't think Cenozoic animals would be enough of a selling point because they're basically just land animals but with feathers, fur or scales in some cases. This game needs more stuff like maybe a pollution system with the trash cans that were added with the predator pack or walking animations for pterosaurs. Polishing up the animations is also appreciated, since it ruins the immersion when your Carnotaurus or Spinosaurus does a crab walk. This is also a chance to add stuff like the river cruise or a balloon tour to add to the attractions side of things.
Hoping for a site B in this one like we had in JPOG and where we can let the dinos run around without fences

First of all, I AM excited to hear what they have in store for another JW game, especially JWE3. It will be interesting to see what they come up with!
Second, no matter how cool it is, I will not be purchasing the game at all or at the very least, I won't be paying full price.
Frontier's management has shown that it doesn't care about it's employees. Not uncommon in the video game industry, but the expansion into failed rpgs and subsequent layoffs in spite of paying management lots of money has soured my love and respect for the company and these games. As it is, I'm picking up the new packs on discount when they go on sale whereas, before, I used to buy day of launch. I even pre-ordered BOTH 1 & 2, in spite of the clusterfuck that was JWE's launch.
I think the devs have done amazing work with JWE2, and am glad to hear people are getting paid for (hopefully) a cool new product, but that doesn't justify me giving them more money.
Hoping for the best, but personally I have no plans on buying it (of course that could change). I am excited for all the content coming from it though.

So they're really going for an Evo 3 huh. I'm expecting vast improvements over Evo 2 since this will probably be $70+ for the base game.
I better get a lagoon that can connect to exhibits so turtles cand climb up but also so my mosa could get a indom snack, but also flyers with outside of cage living, like make stuff ahere they just ignore guests, let our quetz fly around the full map, give flyers a ground walk, let mosas snap a ptera out of the air, just all around i feel all 3 exhibits should have some interaction, imagine a dino breaking the wall to the bird aviary making them fly out and not only attack guests but also fly across the map to get water and stop at feeders etc, or either a pond that connects well to a deeper water, allowing swimmers to move between land and water, spino, bary, any of the other fish eaters etc, but also the real threat of aquatics jumping out and snapping things, or the semi aquatics that come up on rocks like nothasaurs could have actual exhibits and a pond for land and water swimming, (i could just see them expanding water and air stuff more ok)
One thing I want is more Jurassic feel, like a less modern, more JPOG-esque UI and more jurassic park style buildings, not the sterile modern buildings we have now. The game just misses that Jurassic feel to me right now. That for me is the most important. Hopefully we can get a bit more of that with the new game.

If it just ends up being 2 with just more dinos, I call quits on Evolution as a whole. You can't really build up on it with how underwhelming 2 was upon release and the modding scene doing more than Frontier can fix or add. Aftermath at this point would be the only hope for a new worthwhile experience.
All I want out of JWE3 is for them to re-texture every animal in the game. Theres too much of a disparity between designs and I feel like they’re assets pulled from different games. All of the movie skins are highly detailed when compared to frontier original designs that are much smoother. I just want cohesion like Prehistoric Kingdom

I certainly hope they can bring all evolution 2 species over which I’m sure they will since they did it for all the species in evolution 1. Idk I feel like it wouldn’t make much sense to not bring over all current species. But of course it’s too early to tell what is going to happen with this game.

I want to make enclosures that flying, aquatic and land creatures. No special buildings for each give us the freedom to build any enclosure we want.
