I feel like this is my main problem. My aim is good, my nades are good, my sleeps are…. questionable, but my positioning is almost always wrong. I feel like I can’t keep los without being murdered
Find a wall. Make that wall your best friend.
And when you’re moving from cover to cover, always make sure you’re never in the open for too long, you should start moving to new positioning based on how you’re team is playing. You got this 👍🏼
don’t underestimate the power of a support passive, like ml said make a wall your best friend, and close off your perspective to make things easier when supporting
Horizontal walls 'high-ground' are much better than vertical walls 'corners'. If the viewpoint of your camera is your head, you actually have just your head peeking for a horizontal wall than your head and literally more than half your body for a vertical wall. Much less for your enemy to see and shoot you. That's why high ground is stressed if you have the choice.
Crouch spamming near a corner works, if you can. Much harder on console if that's what you play.
You can also vary the timing of your peeks, rather than peeking based on Ana's normal shot timing. Better is to time your peeks based on the rate of the specific enemy you are fighting. One-shots are easier to do this with.
One last thing, if you know the timing of your enemy, you can throw a nade and time your shot when the nade hits your enemy. Then the pressure is off, or better yet a kill.

I love the content as always mL7. I feel like i can never get enough healing done as Ana, any tips?
There's no need to heal your allies if the enemies are dead. Joking aside, if you feel like you don't do enough heal - use that nade to amplify the heal - you have enough time for 2-3 amplified shots; before nano try to use your nade defensively so that when you nano the healing from it is amplified; don't use the nade defensively if your Lucio or Zen use their ultimates. I have a lot of educational Ana tips (and for all supports) that are posted on my secondary channel where I vod review so maybe check that out!
But for real DMG can be better than healing a Lot. For example against a Phara

Thanks for the video, in a situation like 4:12 where you're far from your team but protected cause you're away from the fight. What do you do if you get jumped? Your team won't make it on time. I'm really wondering why no one went for you, I would have been deleted
I thought the same thing but it's likely because ML7's team was moving the bot past the checkpoint. Every meter past that first checkpoint is huge. Sojourn could have tried to jump ML7 and maybe slid back in time to help stop the push but it would take precious time. If ML7 was jumped he could buy seconds for his team to keep pushing and win the 4v4 before dying.

@@Vastfill Oh yeah, Top 500 players seem to care a lot more about the bot in push maps. I'm only a Master 4 ana main but I think I would have been jumped or poked out of the fight too. I usually try to move with the team to the checkpoint (if we're not holding the stairs close to spawn) and shoot/nade/sleep across the bridge before the next fight but sometimes you just don't have time to rotate safely. The bot falls asleep for a little bit when it reaches the checkpoint for the first time so it's sometimes better to wait where ML7 is. And that's also why every meter past the checkpoint feels like it decides the game.
Pretty sure the Sombra was about to EMP you were just too quick on the draw. Fastest sleeps in the west.

I feel like my mixture between 250 hours on ana and 210 on Lucio make me a fun ana to go against 😂 between positioning learned from binging ml7 and my squirmy ADHD Lucio play style it makes me hard to get. que me using the enemy squishy to jump over the enemy tank and into my own tank who just dived into the back line. I stg I just hug my tank when I get dived and then my tank goes 'why does everyone jump me like that' and I'm doing the Shrek face while hiding between the horses legs 😂

I never know where to play when my team is on the enemy team’s bridge on colloseo. The rest of the map is pretty straight forward but in gold people seem to hide behind walls so I either have to follow them and die or stay where I’m at and let them die. Most of my losses on this map come when my team gives them our bridge and we just never are able to take theirs
Should I switch to maybe Bap, Kiri, or Moira in these situations? I usually play with a one-trick mercy

I play just like this and i cant get out of bronze 5, its wracking my brain. My sleeps could do with a slight improvement on more mobile chara. Other than that? Im golden. Only issue is the sombra's constantly diving me when after i use sleep on tank.
