@@MaikSchott It is hard to find many musicians, especially keyboard players, using their units to the full potential, and you have shown here what one single instrument could do with a lot of editing and hard work. Since I was born in 1964 I love 80s, since it was our best time. I must highly praise you for the ability to capture not just this 'tone and vibe of the 80's' but the sound is so close to the real instruments used at that era. I was totally impressed with Jarre recreations and ability to capture his complex and multilayered arrangements from the first 2 albums, which were considered to be the best. I bought Korg Wavestate last week and I am waiting to receive it. You really 'instilled a lot of hope' and enthusiasm about committing and working on this unit. It is hard to believe that one single unit like that could generate so many diverse tonal colors and sonic textures. I have my old Wavestation rack modules and the Wavestation keyboard version itself, but this new Korg recreation really shines with so much sonic potential. Even DX7 or M1 sounds are so close to the real instruments since I have both and I know how they sound. All those presets sound so good. Ps. Half-joking I would like to suggest next library: "The sound of Depeche Mode" ;)
just purchased the two banks for WS... what a great work! the possiblity to use sounds as separate single wave offers so many possibilities! great job!
What a great demo. I didn't like the wavestate when it came out but now I'm sold. Fantastic sounds and great playing. You should be a korg programmer and do the demo's for them. I have seen a lot of wavestate demo's but the majority were useless, your sounds made me think of buying it. Thanks for this great work 👍.
Its worth every cent. In real value I'd set the Wavestate three times higher. If of course it had a full length keyboard, but if like me you have a full length midi controller keyboard then the value of the Wavestate is as good as any $1000+ usd unit
I recently picked up a one owner WaveState in pristine condition with a slew of extra patches for a crazy low price. Once it arrives next week, I'll be buying your soundset.
I second the “ genius” comment. Thank you for all your hard work putting the sounds together! This is a complex synth that you have just made into a pleasure! Please keep them coming 😍
How about New Order “world” song (perfecto version) I wonder if wavestate can accomplish this or any of other New Order synth/drum songs. I would be a good customer for any of their sounds!!!
Superb programing! I wish to have these pads for Wavestation EX. I am surprised how well this synth nails that JP-8 type pads/brass and the depth of field is great.
Thank you Maik, for helping to realise the potential of this amazing synth. I use a Wavestate and a MODX7 on stage, but your video has demonstrated very well that there is little that I cannot do with my current setup. Liked and Subscribed! 🙂
Growing up in the 80s I was into bands like Judas priest and iron maiden. Listening to new age bell sounds and farty funk bases on synths at the music store, I never thought they would be used to make cool music. Then I heard Depechmode for the first time and I was a metal kid nevermore.
Hey Maik.. Awesome stuff right up might street and my era too especially the 80’s. I’ve a Wavestate just sitting here with its siblings AKAI One, IMac 27” running Logic, Roland A-49, Audio Technica AT-LP120XUSB.. They are waiting for my Yamaha HS8’s, 27” Thunderbolt Add-on Monitor and Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol A 61..(purely for the Komplete 13 Select instruments on special offer - free with the purchase of any Midi controller A Series). Then hopefully I’m fully loaded in all aspects from sampling to creative work pieces. Did have a Roland Integra 7.. unfortunately I sold it a few years ago, but will get another one as it is an essential piece of kit. Loving all your work that you have recreated.. great stuff from myself and many alike. PS.. suggested 80’s Vol 2..☺️ Radio GaGa (pretty sure Queen use the Kronos to play most cords) Maid of Orleans - OMD I feel Love - Donna Summer Living on Video - Trans X Mad World - Tears for Fears Love Action - The Human League West end girls - Pet shop Boys Big in Japan - Alphaville All the best.. 👍

Amazing, thanks for sharing. Incredible talent you have.
- Unbelievably good 😃 Work of a true master ⭐️ !!!
You're incredible! I can only try to imagine how much work you put to create this library. I can't wait to get Wavestate and then your presets. It's amazing how capable is Wavestate. All those presets sound so good.
Ps. Half-joking I would like to suggest next library: "The sound of Depeche Mode" ;)
Thanks a lot! Yes - the WaveState is a very impressive synth!
fantastic video....this is awesome. I'm so glad i bought this wavestate! I just have to learn it well.
New subscriber who just found your videos.
What a legend you are!!
I'd love to hear a Daft Punk set.
Your unbelievably good at sound design
just purchased the two banks for WS... what a great work! the possiblity to use sounds as separate single wave offers so many possibilities! great job!
Thank you very much Vincent. Enjoy!
Merci pour ces sons admirables et la douceur de ta voix pour les présenter
Beautifully recrafted sounds.
wow man you are a legend!! Korg send this man money.. I just bought my Wavestate.. and this just pumped me up!
@@thomasinlondon2849 thanks, agree 👍.
I purchased this a few days ago and it’s outstanding but not only that the email help/ backup was brilliant
Fantastic as aspected.
Thanks Guido! 🙏🙏❤️
Thanks Jim for your compliment.
How about New Order “world” song (perfecto version) I wonder if wavestate can accomplish this or any of other New Order synth/drum songs. I would be a good customer for any of their sounds!!!
Hey Maik,
awesome sounding patches and intelligent programming.
Cheers
Hi Maik, Great video series loved the Trevor Horn one too. Thank you, I now need a wavestate.... And your amazing patches....
😁
@@MaikSchott Ive spent most of my hard earned cash on eurorack modular over the past 18 months. I may have to make a module Sacrifice next month. 😉
Hahaha - seems we have something in common. I know exactly what you are talking about Steve.
Wow, this is amazingly accurate
Now I have to buy a new keyboard so I can play these amazing sounds! Much love for the Jarre sounds which are spot on.
Thanks a lot!
Superb programing! I wish to have these pads for Wavestation EX. I am surprised how well this synth nails that JP-8 type pads/brass and the depth of field is great.
Thanks a lot!
the synth Sound of the 80s. nothing is better 👍👍👍👍
Just superb!!! Many thanks.
Can imagine that!
I'm still in awe, this is the real way for programming patches/ performances for a totally useful result!! :)
Wonderful. Kudos.
Cheerio.
🙏
It's incredible... Amazing.
PS.. suggested 80’s Vol 2..☺️
Radio GaGa (pretty sure Queen use the Kronos to play most cords)
Maid of Orleans - OMD
I feel Love - Donna Summer
Living on Video - Trans X
Mad World - Tears for Fears
Love Action - The Human League
West end girls - Pet shop Boys
Big in Japan - Alphaville
All the best.. 👍
Thank you for your suggestions Nige.
